We ordered the carnitas fajitas with sides. While eating the guacamole, I found the avocado product sticker in it. I was appalled and couldn’t finish my meal. I love Uncle Julio’s, but this was inexcusable.

Uncle Julio on Keller Springs in Addison has been very popular for many years due to good food and service, although there is now much more competition around, I hope they can continue to do well. It is still a nice place except for sound of Tollway traffic on the patio. Light music attempts to reduce that sound.

Our food was delicious and portions were generous. Service was excellent too, They did not accept American Express when I was there but they do now.

I had not been to this location for a long time and it was sad to see very few tables filled, when I remembered too much traffic in the past. I was told that it was probably because it was the last day of the fair.

They have party room space there too.

I came to this town for the first time only in busser it brought me water it took more than 20 minutes without the waiter coming to my table and I noticed that one of the waiters was upset and kicking the customers' napkins I had to go out and look for another restaurant to eat

Uncle Julio never fails. From freshly made tortillas to very tasty carne asada tacos. The black beans are decent and the salsas not overly spicy.

I should give this zero stars but you can't so we'll go with one. We went to Uncle Julio's for lunch today. We requested patio and were taken to a dirty table - food on the table, no set up's, etc. I had to ask the host if the table could be cleaned as he was going to seat us there -chunks of food and all. Once seated, we didn't get chips and salsa and no one came to see if we wanted drinks. The patio was busy and there were 2 waitpersons working, neither acknowledged us. After 15 minutes of this, my husband went inside to the hostess stand to request a waiter. While he was inside, I flagged down the waiter who had been helping other patrons on the patio. He said "No one has been here yet?" I told him no and he walked away. Didn't say he would get someone or ask if he could take our drink order. He never came back to our table although he was back on the patio with his other tables. After another 5 minutes of being ignored, we got up and left. On our way out, I told the host why we were leaving and he didn't reply, apologize or anything. Just stared at us as we left. So nuts. Really used to love this restaurant but I doubt we'll be back.

Uncle Julio's is fabulous. We dined in today to experience their new look. They did a nice remodel with a bright clean look in black and white. We ate off the lunch menu. I had the pulled chicken enchiladas. They were divine and a very generous portion. Lunch today was just one of many positive experiences. We have had take out and catering. Everyone is very complementary of the food and the service is on point. Whether you're planning a party or a quick lunch, give them a try.

Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking in front with a nice long ramp if you have a wheelchair or difficulty with stairs.

One of our favorites in Dallas. Chicken Fajitas didn't disappoint. Cajeta (I've cream ball) is sooo good.
