My family and I visited Uncle Julio's last night and received phenomenal service from our waiter- Freddy Gonzalez! His expertise, friendliness, and calm demeanor was OUTSTANDING!! The restaurant, had a nice vibe, very clean, and all the staff were great! The Taco Bar and drinks were very delicious.. Will be going again soon..

Terrible. This is not the same Uncle Julio’s that existed years ago. I know times change and new people take over but man, this place has completely gone downhill. The fajitas had a plastic taste to them, almost as if they were reheated in the microwave - the rice, ok - used to be the best, and the charro beans tasted as if they were coming straight out of the can. There’s nothing I dislike more than spending money on food that taste horrible. This experience made me think we could’ve gotten better tasting food at the Taco Cabana down the street. The execs need to stop cutting corners, bring back the high quality ingredients. Such a shame.

Chips tasted rancid and stale. Bowl of queso was the same size as a cup at other restaurants. Menu has been reduced with most of the UJ go to items no longer available. And the fusion type items aren't what Uncle Julios is known for. Lost a 35 yr customer. Think about it
Okay. Where do I start? We went there this past Saturday, and let me start off by saying if you're going and thinking you're going to spend a little bit of money, you are totally wrong. They have changed so much that the prices are outrageous for small portions. We ordered a queso with chips, and it was a very small bowl that cost around $15.00, and it was awful; it came with burnt black strings. The shrimp plate had tiny shrimp—very tiny, I mean really small. The tortillas were even miniature. The waitress couldn't be bothered; she was a short Hispanic girl with a lot of makeup on. She gave us the minimum attention. It looked like she didn't want to be there. Customer service was awful. I ordered a Margarita the size of a child's sippy cup. It was ridiculous, especially for the price. I would not recommend this place. Everything is overpriced, and portions are extremely small, like you're feeding a seven-year-old. What a waste of our money! When I say small portions, I mean small. Lol. Wish you luck!

I have eaten at almost every restaurant in Dallas i feel like ,but there is just something about Uncle Julios that just keep me coming back! From some of the best service and food to their hot sauce and chips being hands down some of the Best in Dallas!!!!
