Best cheesecake I’ve ever had! No need to look elsewhere Val’s knows what they’re doing when it comes to cheesecakes! Customer service was also great, only thing I will add is to let customers know what location to pick up from incase they aren’t familiar with the area or Val’s in general. I came from out of town visiting and placed an order over the phone. I didn’t know there was 2 (maybe more?) locations and went to the wrong location for pickup so I had to go to their other location. Whole time I was confused they kept up their excellent customer service. 10/10

I placed an order for 10 varieties of 6oz cheesecakes but was later informed that some items were unavailable due to Valentine's Day. I inquired about purchasing slices instead, which would incur an extra $2 charge per slice as opposed to the original $6.50 price. I suggested a $1 discount per slice due to the inventory discrepancy.The owner responded, "Why would I give you a discount?" This response felt unaccommodating, giving the impression of the business being too prestigious for discounts despite the inventory issue. The interaction left me surprised and disappointed as such coldness is uncommon in customer service. While I don't expect the owner to address this specific review or alter their approach, I hope my feedback aids future online purchasers

Now I really didn’t want to write this review because the first time I had it at the Greenville location sold me. But I came yesterday to the Akard location and was highly disappointed in the cheesecake! Not consistent with taste and appearance. I purchased the strawberry cheesecake the strawberries looked like purée and didn’t taste good. I also purchased the blueberry with lemon crumble it was equal filling to crust which is a problem the crust was soooo thick! I also purchased a cookies and cream and turtle and they were ok but they definitely were lazy making the cheesecake on Sunday and it showed! For $40 I expected more then I received.
Cheesecake is sooooo good!! I got the turtle. And my fam got the lemon and blueberry they also enjoyed it. Prices were very reasonable too.

My husband and I stopped here for some dessert and this place did not disappoint. The cheesecake was very smooth and creamy. We tried their red velvet and strawberry topped cheesecake. The workers were very welcoming and kindly and guided us through their long menu list of slices. They offered original, cookie flavored, fruit topped, and of many inspirations. Definitely can’t wait to go back!
