I’ve been coming to Verbena since 2021 and was booked with Brittney because she does great nail art. At the time I had no idea they didn’t add tips in case your nails were different lengths. I had an entire melt down but she made sure to see what could be done. They were able to figure out a solution and I was so happy with the results. Since then I have booked her every month. She’s fun to talk to, very sweet and wants her clients to be happy. This last appointment I had a specific color in mind and none of the shades were working for me but Brittney worked with me patiently to find something I liked. I was worried that I was taking too much time but if we tried a color and I wasn’t thrilled she would try another. She made sure I left loving my nails. Brittney is a wonderful person and nail tech and Verbena is lucky to have her! Shout out to Lan too, she’s dope. Also everything in there is so cute and they have a little cafe. Everyone is really nice and when mistakes are made we find solutions. Love this place!

Finally! A truly non toxic salon in Dallas. They use Dazzle Dry and Zoya polish. Lan did an excellent job on my manicure. They also have a coffee/tea/cocktail bar which is nice. And the space is cozy and comfortable.

I love love this place. If you want to go to a great quality salon with great customer service I recommend you go here. When I first called to book my appointment, Shelby was very polite, helpful, and efficient in answering my questions. I asked about their policies and she was very thorough and explained it all well to me. I’ve been to salons that leave out certain details when it comes to their booking policies and such, but Shelby made sure to cover each corner so I wasn’t left feeling blindsided if something came up. Her kind attitude and helpful spirit made me comfortable enough ask all the questions I felt I needed to. She gave such warm welcome and her energy is the cherry on top to this salon. The receptionist is your first impression when entering places, and Shelby makes it known that this is a top tier salon with amazing customer service all around.

I am absolutely thrilled to share my mind-blowing experience with the receptionist Shelby at this nail salon! Her unparalleled ability to greet customers with a warmth that rivals the sun itself left me speechless. The way she flawlessly juggled phone calls, appointments, and walk-ins was nothing short of a mesmerizing ballet. I can confidently say, this receptionist has set a new gold standard for customer service. If there were an award for receptionist extraordinare, shelby would be holding it right now! I will definitely be back

Hi! I’m a first time customer and I called ahead to get a quote and ask some questions! I’ve never gotten my nails done professionally before and i was super nervous. I booked an appointment with Shelby and she was super sweet and reassuring :D She answered all my questions with patience and kindness so i felt super well taken care of! I can really see the effort she put into making my first manicure a comfortable one!Additionally it’s worth noting that Shelby was mindful of what **I** wanted and not what she thought I should do. Ive been trying to experiment with my gender presentation and Shelby was extremely supportive while also maintaining respect towards my identity. I’d say i had a very queer friendly experience :)))) Overall big thanks to Shelby for the time and care put into my first experience! I look forward to coming here regularly!

I’ve had two horrible experiences with nail salons treating me as if my money and time were not valued and now this is the 3rd time. I called to book an appointment for pedicure because of the use of non toxic polish and products.I book for an 11:45 appointment with Shelby. She stated that she needed a credit card to book the appointment. I’ve lived in California and been to many nail salons and if anyone is foolish enough to put a credit card down for a nail appointment you are part of the problem, if this an acceptable standard.Being in the service industry, good customer service and having customers want to come back and the possibility of people canceling is the cost of doing business. Shelby books the appointment without a credit card and states they would not charge my card but that it was needed to hold the appointment.AT NO TIME DID SHE DAY IF I DIDN’T SHOW UP OR CANCEL WITHIN 12 HOURS OF MY APPOINTMENT THAT MY CARD WOULD BE CHARGED 50% OR 100% FOR THE SERVICE I WAS BOOKING. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY SHE ATTEMPTED TO ASK ME IF I WANTED UPGRADE MY PEDICURE POLISH THAT WOULD LAST LONGER. I DECLINED AND CONTINUED TO BOOK THE APPOINTMENT AS A POTENTIAL 1ST TIME CUSTOMER WITH THE OPPORTUNITY FOR VERBENA TO EARN MY INITIAL BUSINESS AND FUTURE BUSINESS.In less than 15 minutes I got a call back from Shelby on my business line stating that unless I put down a card she would have to cancel. I kindly said cancel my appointment as the privacy and the right of my credit card information is my business and not the business of a nail salon I’ve never done business with.I then called back on my business line to speak to the manager and owner and the salon was open for another hour. Shelby ignored the call from my business line. I then called back from my Cali 2nd business line and Shelby immediately picked it up. I asked for the manager and she shared she wasn’t available and will pass my information on for her to call me back tomorrow.I then asked Shelby if I didn’t show up for my appointment would my card be charged. She then proceeded to share that my card would be charged for 50% of the service or 100% of the service. I then asked why she didn’t think it was necessary to share that her blatant lie of not charging the card in the event of a no show was NEVER MENTIONED when she initially asked for my credit card information.CONSUMERS AND BLACK WOMEN IN PARTICULAR IF YOU ALLOW A NAIL PLACE TO HAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO FOR A NAIL SERVICE PLEASE STOP. We are the biggest consumers of good but we often do not DEMAND TO BE VALUED AND TREATED WITH RESPECT. IF BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT REQUIRES YOUR CREDIT CARD YOU SHOULD FIND A BLACK OWNED SALON THAT WILL VALUE YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS.This salon toxic free or not will never see me and I will be blogging about this invasion of your private banking information. To the owner if you’re so concerned with negative reviews be more concerned about who you have answering the phones and their training for upselling and asking for peoples credit cards WITHOUT FULL DISCLOSURE.

Absolutely love this place if you want high-quality nails that are going to last you a long time this is a place to go. They do not play games. everyone’s nice no one’s rude all the bookings are appropriate so there’s no long wait times and they have a nice coffee house inside this place. If you want your nails done properly and not in the strip mall chop shop way this is a place to go. Ask for Linh. She is amazing. Show that picture you found on instagram and she can do it. My wife likes her so much she had me go to her for my nails.

I’ve been coming to Verbena every month for a few months for a pedicure, and there always seems to be some hiccup that happens during my visit, but it’s usually something I can overlook because it's not directly related to my nail service. A drink that never gets delivered, a coffee order made wrong, etc. However, this last time I went was different.I always book a gel pedicure because I admittedly don’t come as often as I should, so I want to make sure my pedicure lasts. But this time especially because I was going on a beach vacation. This has never been an issue with any stylist I’ve had. I knew something was up the moment my stylist, Bella, gave me the swatch rings and there were only two and the choices were pretty sparse. I was used to three rings and each ring is chock full of colors. I thought maybe this party of women who was also there might have had the other swatch ring and decided to make the most of what was handed to me. But as I went through, I felt like there were colors missing that I had always seen in the past, particularly neons, which was what I had originally wanted. I chose an iridescent white instead and went on with the service. It wasn’t until she applied the first coat that I realized it was not gel. Panicked, I checked my email thinking I booked the wrong service by accident, but when I confirmed that I had booked a gel, I let her know. She immediately got an attitude with me. She checked the schedule and noticed that it was in fact a gel service but then tried to claim the salon hadn’t blocked off enough time for the service. She was clearly annoyed. She then proceeded to ask if I always get a gel pedicure, insinuating that it was a bit ridiculous and excessive. I told her I had a beach vacation coming up so I really wanted to make sure the color lasted and she informed me that glitter polishes are “really hard to come off,” once again insinuating that I was doing too much by getting a gel service. I didn’t know I wanted a glitter polish til I sat down and went through the swatches. Again, I had originally wanted a neon color. She had an attitude the rest of the service and even gave me attitude about the color I chose, which was the closest to what I had first picked and I felt rushed to pick in the first place. Now I have a pedicure with a color that I’m not really all that happy with, and I was made to feel like a burden to the stylist. I’m not sure if the salon flubbed or she misread the service, but it definitely wasn’t my fault and she made me feel badly for the mishap the rest of the service.Although Verbena is conveniently located to me and I love that everything is clean, I feel like every time I’ve gone, there’s just always been something that takes away from the visit, and this definitely left a sour taste in my mouth.

First time visiting verbena and my experience was nice. The venue is beautiful and cozy and lala, a nice young lady who did my pedicure, was sweet and accommodating. My husband and I ordered coffee at the cafe and we enjoyed every drop! Looking forward to my next visit :)

This is the best nail salon I’ve been to! Everyone is so friendly and the techs are really talented. Been going there for a year and it’s the only place I trust with my nails.

I absolutely love Verbena! I have been a faithful customer since 2020? I can’t think of a better place to unwind and relax. The environment and staff give you the feel of hanging out with your best friend and doing your nails! It’s my favorite time of month! Brittney is my go to girl! She’s incredibly talented and it’s always full of laughs!

Getting my nails done at Verbena is always a treat! I feel pampered, relaxed and excited to see what Karen comes up with for my nails! She’s always able to understand the vibe I want even if I can’t articulate it properly.
