Love this bakery! Alot of nice fresh options with great coffee. Also location is great. Would recommend a quick bite then a nice walk around!

The egg croissant sandwich was underwhelming—definitely not worth the price. It didn’t look like what was advertised and wasn’t nearly as appealing as the other sandwiches on display. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The best European style bakery in Dallas
Recommended dishes: Regular Croissant
The food and various baked items are consistently fresh and delicious. They are a genuine boulangerie. The service is efficient and engaging. The aesthetic of the place feels like a French bakery/pastry shop. But the interior dining space is cramped, feels cluttered, and some of the tabletops are loose and janky. Combine that with round tables that are too small if you have a few items and your overall experience goes from great to good.

Absolute #1 favorite boulangerie in DFW! Worth commuting 1.5 hours for. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

5 Stars!!!
Absolutely love Village Baking Company - Knox! The pastries are always top-notch, but what really made my visit special was the outstanding service from Amaia and Jeremy. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about the customers. Amaia and Jeremy are amazing — I’ll definitely be back!

It was alright. I've had a lot of friends rant and rave about this place, so I tried it out. Definitely a step up from the likes of la Madeline. That said, for the pricing and specialty expected based on the name, it's just alright. I got the croissant, the chocolate croissant, the Kouign Amann, and the almond croissant. The almond croissant was probably the best thing there, the other stuff was just...nothing to write home about. Maybe I just had high expectations but nothing really popped for me with any of the items that made me think, oh I see why people love this place. I would eat it if someone gave it to me, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it again.

Sourdough is the very best around. Other stuff is good, if maybe a bit overpriced.

Do not get the matcha latte from here. Go somewhere else. The pastries were good.

Village Baking Co is a true gem! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Amaia and Jeremy, who made excellent recommendations. I highly recommend trying the Pain au Jambon—it's simply delightful! If you're seeking delicious baked goods and friendly service, this is the place to be! Can't wait to go back!
