Order online by the time I arrived there 10 min down the road. I had to wait due to the fact they were bearly turning on the grill

Tried to make me wait 30 minutes before I could order because he said he needed to clean the grill. How all of a sudden you have to clean the grill when I pull up????? It’s 4:30am barely any customers, how’s the grill not already clean?

My son wanted to eat at Waffle House for his Birthday, he and I went in,we were the only customers,as soon as we walked in the tall light skin lady cook,as well as the short 50ish looking lady greeted us with scowls.It was very awkward. the cook went in the back room,as we seated ourself at the table the server walked over with her pad,with an annoyed look on her face,barely looking up from her order pad she said "Okay what yall want to order"I politely said that we weren't sure yet,and could we please have a couple of minutes. She quickly walked away saying "I'll get yall drinks when you place your order and sat down looking at us often while peering down at her phone from time to time,the while time she had a blank scowl on her face.After about 2 minutes I said "ma'am we're ready to place our order"She came over took our order,and called our order out,and brought our drinks.While waiting for our food,I said "Excuse me ma'am, I didn't notice if the All star came with toast"The cook aggressively whipped her head around,and rudely said "Yeah the all star comes with toast!" I almost walked out at that minute because both of these ladies were very rude,and it was unnecessary.I decided to stay because I know my son wanted to eat here,but even he looked uncomfortable while these incidents were happening.When we got our order the eggs I ordered, scrambled,were not cooked all the way it had bright yellow runny spots,which was also on the toast,and the sausage was burnt,so I ate neither.They forgot to put the eggs in my sons hashbrown bowl,but my son said "Its ok mom,its fine"He had also picked up on tbe rudeness,and didn't want to cause trouble. The waffle was soft,but okay,and I ate some of the hashbrown.I told my son that I wanted to address the food,but knew that if I did,it would ruin my sons Birthday, so I let it go,something I usually don't do.The cook had left the building, and the server who was sitting close to us kept watching,and glaring at us,and I don't t know why.We were both very uncomfortable because we were carrying on a conversation, and everytime I took a bite,she was staring in my mouth.This lady never said a word the whole time we were there,not even offering us a refill.When she came to take our plates.She saw my plate of uneatened food,collected it,and never asked if we needed anything, or enjoyed food,so I said ma'am the eggs were not fully cooked,and the sausage was burnt. This rude lady literally kept collecting our dishes,and stayed quiet.My son,and I just looked at eachother.We went up to pay,she took my card.I usually tip well,and was not going to tip but did tip $1.00.She gave us our receipt, and left.We were very disappointed not just about the food,but the rude passive aggressive behavior that was totally unwarranted. I will never come back to this location, but will go to the Spring Valley location, where the staff is professional,friendly, and the food is great!

I've been to this location about five times, so this will be a combined review of those visits. I always get the All-Star, that way I get a little bit of everything. The cook has nailed it every time by cooking all those items to perfection. So for the food and the cook, it's been five-stars every time. Now the service and atmosphere are a different story. Getting an attentive waitress that checks on you periodically, for refills of water or something else, after they've brought your order to you, I would consider a weakness at this location. It's almost like they serve you, and sort of forget about you, or they're always talking to other employees for a long time, or think they're done with you. Their waitresses aren't rude, they just don't check on you a time or two after you've been served your food, nor will they look over at you, and you have to eventually say something out loud to get them to come over to you. Having been in restaurant management years ago, a dirty table or two that hasn't been cleaned yet seems common, and is something I don't understand. The other thing about this location to be aware of are the other customers. Sometimes there will be really loud customers, or babies that are crying non-stop on the other side of your booth, less than 3 ft from your ears. When I go, I'm hoping for peace and quiet. Your best chance of avoiding all that, is to go when there's likely only one or no customers. It's a little hit or miss on that sometimes, but there have been a few times when I've driven up to that location, and there's lots of customers in there, and I'll decide to avoid any possible customer annoyances or waitress inattentiveness, and get the big country breakfast next door at Braum's drive-thru.

I came in placed a to go order, I was told it would be 20 minutes wait, no problem, 30 minutes later were working on it, 45 minutes I see people getting food that came in after me, I asked again were working on it hour later other people getting food who placed an order after me. I asked again I was told my order hasn't been placed yet, I asked for my money back , no apology , your money will be refunded back to your card. The place was so unorganized and poorly ran. STAY AWAY

Worst service ever they had us wait for over 30 min and all the employees were just talking & no work done three tables were able to be clean out with plates but no one was doing it instead they start to mop the floors & continue talking while customers were waiting still to eat and get seated I will never go back worst service customer ever in my life waffle house been in our family for year and never had service like this ever this address area sucks
