Such a horrible place to be . We can’t even get a straw for a drink , no customer service at all. The drinks were horrible. If you want to have a “rooftop bar” experience outside then get ready to pay $250 for a table.

Literally got turn away from being “under-dressed” while there were multiple girls in sport bras.

This is a hotel bar not a night club…

Rooftop bar with excellent views and atmosphere. Food and drinks are pricey, but that is to be expected for this type of place.

Waterproof Rooftop Bar charged my card twice—looks like the waitress gave herself a fat tip. Never coming back.

They cancelled my reservation last minute and are saying it will be weeks before my money is refunded. We got a call saying a reservation we were very excited for would be cancelled because someone ended up booking out the area. This is in poor taste and I will not be coming here in the future.

Excellent vibes!! Late afternoon and sunny day were the perfect combination for a drink at the pool area. Great music and lots of young crowd.

I was incredibly disappointed with my experience here. There was a special event happening that we were never informed about, which completely disrupted the atmosphere. The venue was overcrowded, seating was crammed, and the music was deafening. On top of that, half-naked women and photographers were everywhere, making the whole experience feel weird and chaotic. My friend is extremely conservative and she was uncomfortable the entire time.

They aggressively pushed the $50-per-table minimum, leaving us stuck ordering drinks we didn't even enjoy - they were just gross. I was presented with just the credit card receipt, no itemized receipt and they add 20% gratuity but there is no signage outside and of course we were not told verbally either. I did not double tip.

To make matters worse, the views--which should have been a highlight--were obstructed and underwhelming. Out of the four rooftop spots I visited in Dallas, this was by far the worst. Instead of feeling upscale or luxurious, it came off as trashy.

Cute rooftop lounge, great adorable bartender lady & manager guy tonight. Fun place with good music & nice downtown views. We’ve been here before & look forward to returning. Recommend ✨

Overpriced , busted patio deck , unprofessional bar tender ( baseball cap, sloppy attire , same description for the attendants ….) .
Other than the view, this place is to avoid big time !
And 50$ for 2 glasses of wine served in a place cup . Disgrace !

Waterproof Dallas – Where the Views Are 5 Stars, but My Bank Account Is Crying

Waterproof is the place to be if you want skyline views, strong drinks, and the feeling that you might accidentally join a reality TV show. Sitting on top of The Statler, this rooftop bar delivers serious Miami-in-Dallas vibes—think cabanas, a pool, and an atmosphere that makes you feel way cooler than you actually are.

The views? Unreal. The whole city stretches out in front of you like a scene from a movie, and for a moment, you start contemplating quitting your job and becoming a rooftop influencer.

The drinks? Delicious but dangerous. They’re strong, creative, and come with that “you’re definitely paying for the view” price tag. After two cocktails, I felt like a millionaire; after checking my bill, I felt like I needed a financial advisor.

The crowd? A mix of Instagram models, stylish locals, and people who are way better at rooftop aesthetics than I am. If you love people-watching, this is prime real estate.

So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well, the pool situation is a bit misleading. It’s there, it’s gorgeous, but unless you’re staying at The Statler or willing to drop some serious cash on a cabana, you’re just admiring it from a distance like a kid at a candy store with no allowance.

All in all, Waterproof is a fantastic spot for a night out, but be prepared to spend some cash. Great drinks, unbeatable views, and just enough exclusivity to make you feel fancy—until you check your bank statement the next morning.

Service here sucks. Atmosphere is good, but it’s better to reserve a table so that you can actually sit in a nice area. Prices are expensive. We paid about 100$ for 2 to get in, and the staff was very rude, and we weren’t offered any table. Vibe sucked, so we just left.

A fantastic roof top bar with great view of the city. Great food both for brunch and dinner.

Great views. Not impressed with the drinks. DJ was great too.

My favorite rooftop bar in Dallas. The view is amazing and the drinks, service, and food are great.

Loved this bar, went before Christmas and they had a Christmas party going on at the time. Good drinks!
