Great ambiance and beer. Service is smooth and pleasant. Food is ok. TVs are a bit small to watch sports. Parking is limited.
Great beer and pretzels
We drove in from Tulsa for a show and decided to make this our first stop on a brewery tour of Dallas. Turns out, I just kept coming back to this same brewery! The beer was superb, exactly what you’re expecting, just great quality beer masterfully made. The staff and owner were all so welcoming and great to talk to, their reputation is well earned! I highly encourage you to make this a must stop spot on your list, or even for a drink after dinner, you won’t be disappointed.
Place is great. The beer is good. The atmosphere is good and the service is better. Worth checking out
Good beer, good food, fun atmosphere. Server/bartender was very helpful and kind. Played battleship while we ate and drank. Will definitely go back if we end up in Dallas again
Great staff, good beer, and a cool atmosphere. The blackberry mead was a favorite for me. Highly recommend this place! Ariel was so friendly and knowledgeable.
The Rainout Hazy was fair, but the spacious outdoor patio made it a great spot to hangout in Deep Ellum.
We decided to check this place out because it was walking distance from our hotel, and they were dog friendly so we were able to bring our pup with us. We do appreciate that they allow dogs inside as well because it was a little too hot for him to hang outside. They were even kind enough to bring some water for him.
My husband and I shared a beer flight, and a couple of items off their food menu.
Beer Flight
- Hoppy Lager: Crisp and refreshing lager made with noble hops.
- Super Dry: Japanese Style ale with a light body and dry crisp finish. (My husband’s personal favorite).
- Instant Guavafication: A blonde ale, loaded up with all the guava. (Our least favorite, lacked in the guava department).
- West Cide Cider: House made from a blend of Michigan apple and pear juice. (My personal favorite).
Shareable Plates
- Giant Pretzel: Soft and made perfectly, most brewery/pubs have pretty dry and hard pretzels, so we actually enjoyed this. The Beer Cheese on the other hand, we haven’t found a place to make it right. The one here was too thick, and a little difficult to get the cheese to stay on the pretzel.
- Sausage Pesto Flatbread: The star of the our evening.
- Buffalo Baked Chicken Wings: Tender and just okay. Nothing to brag about.
Honestly, it’s a cool place to hang out and enjoy a few drinks and light snacks.
Love this place!
Good beer great environment fun games to play with friends and fantastic service… can’t really want much more from a brewery!

family friendly place, good for sunday afternoon, but it’s summer and it was warm inside 🥵
I love this brewery so much. Their beer selection is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and their customer service is wonderful. I've taken all my friends and family that have visited Dallas to this brewery since this place is truly peak Dallas Craft beer.
This week I have been to Westlake brewery three times. I tried more flavors. So far rainout is my favorite. In addition to flat bread, Pretzel and pretzel bites are pretty good. Don’t forget churros.
Perfect place, to drink & munch, with a friendly environment that doesn't even feel like you're in Deep Ellum.
Friendly staff and good beer, thank you!
