I visited the White House Sub Shop with my daughter, as I often do when I'm in the city. On November 2, we both ordered dry Italian subs. The young guy who prepared our subs had a beard and a peculiar, big smile when he handed them to us, but we didn’t think much of it at the time. After leaving, my daughter ate half of her sub in the car and within 15 minutes, she complained of stomach pain. We inspected the meat, lettuce, and onions, but everything seemed fine. Later, while cooking dinner, I ate my sub as well. I felt fine beforehand, but within 30 minutes, I experienced severe cramps, cold sweats, and then diarrhea throughout the night. The situation reminded me of taking a laxative, even though I hadn’t. Afterward, my daughter discarded the rest of her sub, and we both agreed we would never return to that shop—nor would our family. Everything that came out had a smell reminiscent of the subs. It was alarming and led me to believe that either something was off with the ingredients or something had been added to the subs. If you ever feel uneasy about the person prepping your food, trust your instincts. I certainly wish I had. This experience was unsettling, and we will not be going back.
THE BEST SUB I HAVE EVER HAD! MY FAVORITE SUB PLACE HANDS DOWN. A MUST TRY!
Cashiers are rude and disrespectful Gilla scream and points fingers at customers and a black girl with hair glued to her face let’s you kmow you have the right one by the way her name was Jarrkara .
Is located in an area where you can also find the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial and the U.S Capitol. Take only 7 stops from the Foggy Bottom Metro station.
Tons of history here. The house looks amazing and the grounds are so well kept.
The most visited house in the United States.
Looks smaller in reality 😅
Went on a tour of the White House. Very long wait to get through security. Took an hour and half. Tour itself is self guided. Lots photos of Presidents and you get to see a few rooms.
Pride month has only been acknowledged by 2 US Presidents. Bill Clinton + Barack Obama.

There is free parking in front of the Capital, get there early and take your walking shoes
The White House looks awesome at Christmas time!
Our President staring directly at the sun during the Eclipse. Pretty much sums it up.
Note that if you want a tour, it has to be reserved at least 60 days in advance in order for them to do a background check. Even w/o it, we got some lovely pictures, but had no president sightings.
412 doors, 147 windows, 28 fireplaces, 7 staircases, and 3 elevators. The White House has been known as the "President's Palace," the "President's House," and the "Executive Mansion."
