most fun ive had since woodstock1999
Horrible experience. Be careful coming here they will scream and try to assault you. Please believe when the others say they literally mistreat you for no reason.
I’ve been coming here for a while now. The atmosphere is amazing. Laura is always great and makes the absolute best drinks. To my surprise their food is actually really good. It’s really a one stop shop. Overall, I strongly recommend.
After moving to Dallas from Miami, I needed to find MY bar that I can come to rewind, laugh, and just have a great time. I had such a pleasurable coincidence of stumbling upon this bar to find Eji working behind the bar. I have been a certified regular since!!! Great food, great drinks, great staff. Definitely recommend! Best bar in bishop arts district. Come check it out.
This is one of my most frequented bar. Excellent food and excellent drinks. Don’t come in during Ejis shift unless you wanna have a great time and laugh too hard.
Eji is amazing and threw me an impromptu birthday party! I had a wonderful 42nd birthday as a regular. 😂
Tara was great and the cheese board was DELISH!

I'm being a deva, but they have a bar window and the smell of smoke drifts inside. The music is also a little loud for conversation.

Best local bar in oakcliff Bishop Arts district, it’s a home for me. Quiet during the day and live during the night especially on the weekends.
Good food, good drinks. Amazing, attentive and experienced bartenders who’ve been there for some time now. It’s definitely a rustic, old school Keeps it traditional but with a new school attitude that is entertaining and enjoyable. Good music, good feel, good drinks, good food, good time. To all the bartenders there, I appreciate keeping a good ol bar, a bar and nothing but.

Fantastic neighborhood spot run by locals with ties to the community. Welcoming to all and always has a great mix. My wife and I have been coming here for years and it is always a treat.

Last night, around 9:30 pm, my daughter and I frequented this establishment for the first time. Our first disappointment was that there were no tables inside low enough for my daughter to dine at as she's in a wheelchair. Since it was late and we were hungry, we opted to dine outside at the lower tables. I stood at the bar and placed my order with E.G., the bartender. I ordered a smash burger, fried pickles, calamari, and two drinks. The total came to $61. I did not add a tip because I thought the price was rather high, there was no waitress, and I have to eat outside. It was quite cool last night as well. About 15 min later, E.G. brought the food to our table outside. The calamari and pickles were burnt, like charcoal crisps burnt. I tasted very little pickle or meat. I was so hungry, I did eat all the pickles and was going to try to finish off the burnt specks of calamari. I asked my daughter for a bite of her hamburger. The meat wasn't seasoned and I didn't feel like getting up and going in to ask for salt. I wasn't going to say anything because I was like maybe they're getting back at me for not tipping. Then, I said ro myself, that shouldn't matter. You just paid $60 for some burnt food. So, I go up to the bar and asked E.G. if I could speak to the manager. She said there was no manager there and what was the problem. I told her I don't think I should be charged $60 for burnt food. She told me she needed to see the food even though she was the one who brought it out to me. So, we went outside. She asked why did I eat all of it if it was burnt. I explained that I was hungry, I wasn't going to say anything, but then decided to speak to the manager, and not everything was eaten. E.G. then told me they had been serving food all day with no complaints and that their food is cooked on a timer so it's impossible to burn. I said well maybe the grease is old because the food is obviously burnt and the hamburger meat has no seasoning. She then reluctantly said she would see if she could reach the manager at this late hour and see if she would be willing to work something out. I waited outside for E.G. to return for about 15 min. It's getting cold now. I took pictures of the food for evidence as I now anticipated this was turning into a problem. My daughter and I go back into the establishment. E.G. walks pass me as if she didn't know I was waiting on her. She then reaches for her cell phone and appears to be texting. I asked her for the manager's name and contact information which she said she was not allowed to give out. She only had an email address. She hands me the email address and walks off. A young lady sitting at the bar by the name of Laura says that the manager's name is Erin. She will be in on Saturday at 11 am. She said the bartender's name was E.G. She said she worked there, but she was off. After about 2 days, the manager offers me another burnt appetizer on my next visit. No thanks ma'am. There are lots more professional restaurants in Bishop Arts that I'll be giving my business to.
It’s a no for me. Y’all need to start treating your guests with disabilities with some respect.

About 15 min later, E.G. brought the food to our table outside. The calamari and pickles were burnt, like charcoal crisps burnt. I tasted very little pickle or meat - just mostly burnt crust. I was so hungry, I did eat all the pickles and was going to try to finish off the burnt specks of calamari. I asked my daughter for a bite of her hamburger.

After emailing manager Erin, she finally responds 2 days later to offer me another free burnt appetizer the next time I come there. She said this is because I said I would never come back to their establishment and threatened to blast them on social media. No thanks. There are way more professional eateries in Bishop Arts that don't serve burnt food to their patrons.
