I have heard great things about Wicked Butcher in Fort Worth, but the drive is not going to happen on a Saturday. So I was very excited about their opening in downtown! Starting off with the hostesses. Now, they really set the tone for a fantastic night. They were engaged, fun, welcoming, and definitely a highlight of starting the evening off well. We were greased with complimentary bubbles and led to the bar where we wanted to have a drink before dinner. The DJ was setting up, the energy was good, and the decor was beautiful. Just be warned- they don't mess with the drinks and they are strong (my compliments to the bartender!) Dinner, I got the beef Wellington and omg. It was so good. The pastry was light and flaky and I was so happy to see this dish on the menu. The whole dinner was fantastic, although not inexpensive. My grandmother always said you can rate a restaurant based on their bathrooms. And she was a smart lady so I willl continue to use her rules and give an enthusiastic recommendation for Wicked Butcher, with an extra star for their fabulous bathrooms.

There is street parking or valet parking available. This is a lovely space to walk into. You will want to plan for about 2 hours for your meal, not a place to eat if you are in a rush. We came for lunch as a group of 8 people. They were great for a couple of us who have food allergies and were mindful throughout the meal when food was delivered. We tried the tenderloin hummus, the hummus was creamy and with the meat was so good. The Caesar salad was okay, maybe try a different salad. The prime rib sandwich was excellent and the au jou just enhanced the flavor and the French fries were the thin string fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. It is a relaxing meal and the service was impeccable.

Sally and crew provided exceptional service and the food and wine were paired with excellence and care. We will be back again soon, too much left to try! If you’re looking for scrumptious food and a cool atmosphere along with gracious service this is your spot. Thanks WB crew for the hospitality, see you again soon!

Downtown for a show at the Majestic sowe decided to get steaks for dinner. This place is exactly what you'd hope for in an upscale steak place with some nice twists like the popovers for bread. We enjoyed the wedge salad, lobster bisque, 8oz fliet mignon and 16oz ribeye. Steaks were cooked to perfection and accompanied by potatoes with garlic chips for a nice textural component. Service was great and host was super friendly.

We sat at the bar, and Robert was great! We had a few cocktails, and the beef carpaccio. Service, ambiance, and food were all awesome.

Best meal I've had in a long time! From the complimentary champagne, chefs bite and dessert to the steak and salad everything was meticulously crafted and perfectly prepared. Even the water and bread service was thoughtful and elevated! Will be taking many more visits here in the future!

One of the best dining decisions I've made in ages! This is a perfect pre-show dining choice just around the corner from The Majestic. Sophisticated western vibe, outstanding service from seating to check presentation at the end! Serving team was attentive and personable with knowledgeable advice about steak options. Love the sauce options for the steak and the wedge salad was the best I've ever had. I would return and order the exact same thing but will want to try other items on the menu. This will be a favorite spot going forward!!! Highly recommend!

I was excited to try this place. My wife and I really enjoy steakhouses. We ordered the 24oz cowboy ribeye (medium) and a bunch of sides, all to share. The steak came out and I was asked to cut into it. Upon first look, without me saying anything, the waitress told me it's way undercooked and took it back. When the steak came back out, it was very well done (i.e., overcooked). My wife and I each took a bite, left 23oz on the plate, were charged $200, and left. Steaks don't always come out right and that's fine, but waitstaff should have the wherewithal to understand the situation and make it right. This place was a joke. Not recommended. Edit: Brian (manager) called me to make it right. Will chalk this one up to a new restaurant working to train their staff. Good luck to them.

Nicer than most other downtown date spots we have been to. The staff was friendly and attentive. We had multiple people checking in on us. We had the salmon tartare as well as the burrata and both were delicious

Delicious food with a good selection of wines. The Wellington was a little too rare for my taste but tasted delicious anyhow.

Really fun spot with a great ambiance. The champagne on arrival is such a nice touch. I also loved the complementary bread! The food was really excellent but the drinks were not - my group ordered dirty martinis and after a long wait we got classic with what tasted like sweet vermouth(?)I will likely be back because that’s an easy fix :)
