Love it. It was my son and his girlfriend 1st time there and it was great..the food was fresh and the portion are big enough to share so we were able to enjoy different option. The manager Tony came by several times to make sure we were enjoying everything which we appreciated. The hostess and other manager were also very sweet and friendly. Will be going back soon.

Cute name, great atmosphere BUT the Dumplings were mediocre, bao buns were very bland and Kung Pao Chicken was horrible and extremely salty. Service was terrible. Very disappointing experience. We won’t be back.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is was the worse disappointment ever. THIS IS NOT CRISPY BEEF, THIS SOGGY OLD LOOKING REFRIED BEEF! The worse $25 I have ever spent! And you just opened at 11am, and it's 11:26am! If I wasn't in a rush I would turn around and bring this awful soggy mushy suppose to be crispy been back to you all! Panda Express got y'all beat a 100 times over on Krispy Beef and that's clearly where I should have went, I don't recommend this restaurant to nobody. This is out right sad! Take pride in your food and stop selling people food like this and charging $25 for this mess! I'm extremely upset about this!

Wok Star is a must-try! Everything my friends and I tried was so flavorful. The hostess made a great suggestion and our waiter did an amazing job helping us narrow down our top choices to order. The decor inside is pretty cool and their playlist was on point. I would honestly go back to Wok Star every time I visit Dallas. If you're pondering on trying this place or not just do it. A family was leaving when we arrived and asked them how they felt about Wok Star. "So so good We'd probably give them like an 8 or 9 out of 10" I'm so glad I trusted their judgement.

My favorite Chinese restaurant in Dallas!! Highly recommend the orange chicken and any of their dumplings, you can’t go wrong! I also love their egg soup. Anything I have ever tried here I have loved.

I did a pick up order. Minus the lady up front (slight attitude over me making sure my order was accurate which I thought was odd) , the food was great! I ordered orange chicken with a side of fried rice and crab Rangoon. I’ve had better fried rice but it wasn’t bad! The orange chicken however was PHENOMENAL and the crab rangoon was crunchy like I like! Their sweet and sour sauce is also exceptional!

Wok Star Chinese has some amazing dishes! Highly recommend the pork buns or dynamite shrimp.

Very poor customer service. Our drinks were not refilled. The plates brought out were dirty and then they didn’t tell us they didn’t have the fried rice we ordered until we asked once we asked after it not being brought out. We use to frequent here, but will not any more, very disappointed.

Ordered orange chicken subbing rice for lo mein, after having their catered food a while back. The lo mein was not cooked in brown sauce…which is honestly the whole point of having lo mein. Otherwise, they’re just dry, flavorless noodles. It would have made the orange chicken so much better. Also, the lady at the front told me she was going to keep my change, which is a new one for me.

Took my sister here for her birthday. Dumplings were good, service was also good, nothing out of the ordinary.

An absolutely delicious Chinese meal located in a great area. There are lots of great spots and walking paths around the restaurant, and the food is great. Definitely recommend the combination lo mein, it was a great way to get beef, chicken, and shrimp for a good price.

What restaurant in Dallas Tx doesn't have normal ice tea. Good lord, peach and raspberry barf. Love the food, but come on put some normal tea on the menu.

It's OK American Chinese food. They have the same dishes as everyone else but about $5.00 more per entree. It is in my opinion over-priced for what you get but I guess that's everywhere these days... lol. Nothing really stood out and some dishes like the combo lo mein were just bland and did not have much flavor. Also ordered the jalapeno chicken with scallion. Chicken pieces very small, peppers not spicy, which is why you order a dish like this. Scallion pancakes not served with a sauce and it needs one. The ambiance was kinda cool. Mix of Asian and retro pop. I could see going back if you lived really close but would not make the 15 minute drive just to go here again. Again, it's nice, but nothing new.

Portions are huge, the food was good. Girlfriend and I ordered 7 food items and have plenty of leftovers. Meals are served family style. One comment would be the inconsistent spice level across the menu. The spicy wontons were very spicy, though delicious, but everything else marked "spicy" was quite mild.
