I eat dinner in this area all the time, and I can’t believe I missed this place. This is one of the rare times I ate an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert, and completely finished it without taking any leftovers, it was that good. My server was Elena and she was purely lovely. Knowledgeable, friendly, and great attention to detail. Definitely coming back, enjoy the photos. You’ll have to figure out what they are yourself when you dine in.

Excellent restaurant and outstanding service by our server, Paola! Nice selection of small plates and large plates. The large plate dinner, salmon, was very unique with unique combinations of flavors and some of the best salmon I’ve had! Because there was a birthday, they treated us like royalty! Great birthday dessert, coffee flavored. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent food (cod fritters, short ribs, kimchi pancakes, duck confit).Mezcal cold fashioned is a bit sweet and needs a single cube. Negroni was excellent.Service was super friendly and welcoming. We'll be back!

One of the best establishments we've ever dined in. Even when we tried hard to find something wrong, there was nothing. It was superb! Highly recommend!

Excellent service. Food very good but less “everyday” food. A tad expensive but the food was rich and filling. Difficult parking, nice airy clean restaurant.

This is my favorite restaurant in Dallas. The food is exceptional and fresh. The service is top notch. The prices seem very affordable when you account for the quality of the food and uniqueness of the dishes. I don't think you can find a comparable restaurant in Dallas for a similar price. My husband and I like to share 2-3 small plates and one large plate. We've gotten: roasted grapes, Asian pears & burrata salad (fantastic), grilled shrimp and avocado (highly recommend), miso pork ribs (tender and flavorful), coconut braised baby carrots (delicious), duck confit (excellent), and the grilled pork chop (what I believe is the best item on an outstanding menu).I love that this restaurant sources locally and modifies its menu seasonally. I've tried the pork chop in both fall and spring, and the flavors are different but both superb. The staff is kind and very attentive. They work well as a team, dropping off and explaining dishes, picking up finished dishes, etc. One of the owners and/or managers stop by your table to ask how your experience is. Overall, one of the most enjoyable meals you can have at a restaurant and one of the most affordable for a fine dining experience.

This place will absolutely blow your mind. It is definitely the best restaurant in Bishop Arts! We ordered everything upfront and they coursed us themselves. We loved everything sent our way and even finished the night off with coffee and dessert. While the drip coffee was excellent, we would’ve loved of this place offered small pour overs. Thank you for a wonderful night!

I had an incredible dining experience at Written by the Seasons in Dallas’ Bishop Arts District. The food, from small plates to entrees, was exceptional and complimented each other perfectly! The manager, Hayley, met us with a warm greeting and the attentive check-ins added a warm, personal touch. Special thanks to our friendly waitress, Dylan, who struck the perfect balance of interaction while giving the best food and drink recommendations. Highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful culinary journey and welcoming atmosphere!

It was a delight to dine here. These folks understand food, drink and service. They get it. There are not many that do.
