Underwhelming and overpriced.We made a reservation and arrived on time.However, it took a good few mins to get approached by a member of staff and then another 3 to get seated.The food was fine, but poor value for the overall output.Had to repeatedly ask for water. When we passed comment on the food being sub-par the wait staff didn't have any interest in trying to rectify.

This was my second time here. Great location across from klyde Warren Park with plenty of parking that they validate. The food here is amazing, all of the a sides are so yummy. The macaroni and collards greens are a must try, now the prices are a bit high but the food is worth it and outstanding service it worth it.
We had a family style meal and shared everything. The waffles were delicious and the chicken was juicy. The service was amazing! I can’t wait to come back!

Met with national and local board members that I serve with. I’ve visited the Miami location a few years ago which had a more elevated beachside atmosphere but I loved the contrast of this location’s elevated downtown atmosphere. Each course was delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and as a native of Louisiana, no where is better than home. I also had the grapefruit non alcoholic drink and it was a bit too tart and tangy for my taste. Overall, great service and atmosphere.

We tried the chicken and waffles, salmon, shrimp with grits, plus the cornbread and pork belly appetizer. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was great, however the service the night we were there wasn't good. They didn't have enough staff and our server had too many tables. We sat with our entrees without any silverware until I finally asked the hostess for forks and knives. We didn't get the corn side dish we ordered until we were done eating. I'm not sure if it was an off night, but for the price of the food, the service should have been a lot better. I loved the Yardbird old fashioned, it's an excellent twist on the traditional cocktail.
Really nice ambiance great service but sadly the Shrimp n Grits are cliffhangers, the chef did an awesome job with culinary decorating but the meal was horrible I literally spat it out after 1 bite. I did order the braised beef n potatoes it was a lot better. I should’ve tried the Chicken but by the time we got our check it was a few dollars short of $300 for 3 people. I have to say I’d choose elsewhere if you’re looking for great taste in food.

I was visiting Dallas for a birthday trip. I got the “Pretty n Pink” mocktail, blackened grilled salmon and mashed potatoes. It was amazing! Our waiter gave me a fried Oreo with a candle as well! Definitely coming back!

This place was very immaculate for it to be a chicken place. Our waiter was Daniel and he was excellent! He catered to us and helped us with everything on the menu. The chicken was really good it could use a little more seasoning but overall I would give it a 7. The lobster mac and cheese is labeled as market price on the menu but it was not worth the price that they are selling it for. It is really not a lot of lobster in that mac and cheese, but we got it and tried it anyway. The salad was really good. The biscuits omg were amazing... The skillet cornbread is also good but if you do not eat pork I suggest you do not get it because the bacon is already mixed into the batter. Do not sleep on the braised short rib it is so juicy and tender, also the chicken is fall off the bone even though it's fried.Overall we had a great time here celebrating my mom's birthday!P.s. they do charge a $5 dessert fee for bringing in outside desserts if you are celebrating any occasion. So if you are choosing this place to celebrate an occasion and you are bringing cake or cupcakes or anything like that it is best you leave them at home or pick another establishment unless you want to pay $5 per person.
