First time coming here and I loved the food. Perfect portions, great flavor, and I’m such a sucker for anjira!!! The owner was there too and made me feel very welcome. I’ll be back.

This little place is the best kept secret on upper Greenville! It may look a little rough when you first pull in, but it is a beautiful restaurant inside and the food AND SERVICE are outstanding!

My dining companion and I arrived at an off time, and we were the only customers in the place. That was a lucky turn of events because we had a wonderful conversation about the food with the gentleman who was our server. He was exceedingly knowledgeable about the menu and it was the first time for each of us to have Ethiopian food.

We ordered the vegetable combo and a spicy beef gravy dish called the Zil Zil Tibs. Here’s the thing: there are No utensils; instead you scoop the food up with stretchy, spongy, absorbent bread that gloms it up.

The presentation was beautiful, the portions were huge, and the food was simply delicious! I don’t have a vocabulary to accurately describe the flavors, but everything was wonderful! Wow! I could eat some more right now! Highly recommend!!

Visiting the restaurant after almost nine years. Tried Doro Wot and Lamb Tibs with injera. The flavors were ok and the difference in the quality was evident.

The restaurant is spacious and well maintained. Plenty of parking is available. Service was fine with a few misses. They have a full bar with Ethiopian Honey Wine, which is a specialty.

This place is one of my favorite, go-to restaurants for Ethiopian food. When you walk in, the atmosphere is filled with a sweet incense aroma. The service was fast, and our waitress was very kind. The food speaks for itself! Fresh, flavorful, and soo filling. My dad and I shared a veggie platter for 2 with the beef tibs and we still had enough to take home. I will definitely be back.

Recently hosted a private party at Yenat Guada.The food was timely set up and in beautiful chafing dishes. All the guests complimented how much they enjoyed the fresh food and variety. The restaurant was able to set tables according to my party size perfectly. They also accomodated a generous amount of time to decorate prior to the party.
