Sure feels racist to me. Came in to get donuts this morning and was behind a black woman trying to pay. She had what was clearly a joke sticker on her card that said food stamps and had a picture of a Dave Chappell character on it.

The lady running this shop loudly and rudely said she didn’t take food stamps in front of everyone in the shop. Several of us were now involved and tried to explain that it was actually a real card and that they should just tap it. They didn’t believe that it wasn’t food stamps and tried to run the card as if the sticker was the correct side of the card.

They literally wouldn’t believe this woman wasn’t trying to pay with food stamps. It didn’t even look like a real food stamp card. The combative energy in the other reviews was definitely seen. I won’t be back.

Gentleman greeted us as soon as we entered. All the baked goods were beautifully displayed and clean atmosphere. Purchased blueberry donut apple fritter honey bun and chocolate eclair. All the donuts were fresh and tasted delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how great they were. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

This place was so disappointing!!! $4 for a medium coffee and I couldn’t even get a top for my cup !! And the guy working They don’t know if he’s the owner or what but he said I don’t know what to tell you and I’m too tired to care!! And to top it off. Donuts suck, kolaches. Don’t even taste good.

These are the closest donut to a Gibson Donut (iykyk) that I've come across. They are light and melt in your mouth!

I went here to order two and a half dozen doughnuts (dozen for my highschooler to hand out, a dozen for my daycare kiddo teachers and some to take home). The lady was a bit flustered at first but quickly asked if we could mix the order instead of just glazed and keep it the same price which I agreed to. She was very bright and happy throughout the whole thing and I let her be the judge of things. She did a superb job. At the end she even threw in some free doughnut holes and a applefritter.

Yes the decor is “outdated” to some, but I quite enjoy the nostalgia and honestly it’s probably worth something being as vintage as it is just saying 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway, I loved this little hole in the wall. Glad I came across it and will definitely make this my doughnut shop. 💜

Wheelchair accessibility: This is in a long strip of stores and there’s ramps available throughout parking areas.

Super rude owner. It was also 6:30am and they didn’t have a lot of donut staples ready (no eclairs. No chocolate frosted.) Go elsewhere and get better donuts from nicer people.

Lady that works there. i told her specifically what I wanted, and she gave me something else. I told her I didn't want it, and she demanded me to take it. She was really rude....never had an Asian get rude with me at a donut shop. First time here and last time seeing her face again. If i could swear on this I'd call her several names besides rude

Terrible lady! The owner is so rude. My daughter chocolate milk was old, I went back to exchange. She instantly got very defensive and blamed me for the old milk. She blamed the milk company. I told her I purchased from her and it wasn't a big deal she took it so personally, I know she didn't make the milk. She went very far and asked me not to return, ok! She stated she's been in business since 1984... I told her I believed her because the decor hasn't changed. She got upset told me she hate me and asked me to leave.

Hi folks! Young Donuts has been the best place in this area ( Intersection of East Dallas/ Pleasant Grove/ White Rock ) for things like Cake Donuts, Cinnamon Rolls, Twists, Buttermilk /Sour Cream glazed donuts, donut holes, crescents, sausage/ biscuits, all kinds of really good stuff! I’ve been a customer of Young Donuts since the mid to late 1990’s.

The only thing I don't like about this place is the lady. She is very rude and has been for years. I used to come here awhile back and she was rude and I figured that after time had passed her attitude would change. It has not. I will spend money elsewhere.

Donuts taste like the lady owner acts . Old, COLD, and Nasty! I do not know when they make them because thedonuts are literally never hot, frah, or even warm. The store needs to be power washed inside, and literally, there is an entire community of unhoused people living in the shopping center parking lot. Not safe place to be and not safe to consume!

This was my first time visiting this establishment!! And my last!!! Went there at about 6 am. I was smiling and pleasant. The woman owner, is the rudest, unfriendly, mean face, and her customer service skills need a lot of work!!! I'll NEVER go back!!! She had no reason to be that RUDE!!! AND she tossed us our food!!!
