I don't know why this place only has 4-stars on google reviews! It should absolutely have FIVE STARS! The food is soooo tasty. The breads, empanadas, shredded beef, arepas and cachapas and so much more, so tasty! I order this place Uber Eats often. Good price, great portion size.

Decent food, but the service is terrible. They are super slow and can be rude.

Tequeños are really good!
I’m a regular at Zagua and I usually love the vibe, the food, and the service — that’s why this experience really surprised me.
Today I came during lunch hours (which I normally don’t), and the service was extremely poor. There were two waiters I had never seen before — one with very messy hair and another guy with his shirt halfway unbuttoned, chest completely out. I was hoping to see Gonzalo or Luis (the usual great servers), but neither of them were there.
No one greeted me or my family.
No music was playing.
No one checked on us.
We waited over 20 minutes after getting menus, and not a single person came to our table.
We eventually got up and left — and they didn’t even notice us leaving.
Very disappointing experience, especially for a place I normally love.
Lunch service needs serious improvement.
Sadly, I don’t recommend coming during lunch hours.

It's been 12 years since we last visited when our kids were still young, and I'm thrilled we came back! The restaurant's name was familiar, but the cozy atmosphere inside was a lovely surprise - it's just as charming as I remembered! The menu was fantastic, and our food was absolutely delicious. It brought back a wave of happy memories and filled us with nostalgia 😊. The coffee was spot on. We'll definitely return soon.

I always visit this place to buy products from my country. My visits are usually short, but on Christmas Day, my husband and I didn't have any special plans. Then I remembered that they make ham bread there, so we called to ask if they had any (I live quite close by). They were about to close, but they were very kind and waited for my husband to pick up the Christmas bread before closing. Thank you so much!

Food was good but empanadas were not
First off just want to say if you're looking for authentic, and I mean genuinely authentic Venezuelan food then this is the place. My family lives a long distance from me so I don't get a chance to see them often, but when I do my mother or aunt is making hallacas, and the hallacas here are exactly like I've known them to be my entire life. So this is the spot. Not to mention Carlos was great to talk to and a really friendly person. You can't mess up if you're looking for some VZLA cuisine and a friendly atmosphere to go along with it.

It’s my second time here and both experiences were good. Food was tasty just think the servings would be bigger given how much they’re charging.

Delicious food! There's nothing like this place around. Coming from someone that lives in Miami for 30 years, this place is legit. I've had several dishes and all have been a hit. Since they are a bakery the arepas and bread is hands down amazing.
The Cuban sandwich is excellent! Great pork and ham.
Love the Argentine empanadas!
You can't go wrong here.
