I went here a week ago. Jacob was our waiter. My friends who are new to Dallas are from Venezuela so I decided to bring them here after googling “Venezuelan food” . It was us 5 and a table of 3 there for dinner on Sunday but that made no difference to the waiter as he was in a hurry to get our order, rushing my friends, and being annoyed by their confused looks of the menu. They didn’t understand the menu, instead of helping he rolled his eyes and was short with answers. I only saw “Jacob” the waiter when he dropped the drinks and food, I got up at the end to pay the tab $157.11 for 5 meals and 5 drinks ( only 1 alcoholic ) The thing that bothered me the most of “Jacob” the waiter was that he generously applied his gratuity of 20% $29.03. After the horrible service he gave us. I confronted him about the gratuity. The menu said 6 and up 20% Grat and we were just 5. He stuttered to come up with an answer at that point I didn’t care or made a scene, I simply told him to do better and that not think just because we were speaking Spanish the whole time that we didn’t know that the gratuity didn’t apply to us. Horrible experience. Food and drinks didn’t make up for it, horrible as well

Of all the Venezuelan food I have trues this is the worst . Cachapa tasteless small and plain . Empanadas greasy bland and just awful . Pabellón by far the worst I tried and the waiter had the gaull to charge 18% up front . Some body please buy this place and replace everything . Even the rice sucked it tastes like Mexican plain rice . How do you mess up rice ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️?

Great food and great service! Went for brunch and loved the food at great prices. We sat outside which could be spruced up a bit but still a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this place!

They had no gluten free alfajor’s!!! Came all the way from Fort Worth for nothing. I decided maybe i’ll get a cachapa with prosciutto and they were out of prosciutto!! I just left because don’t waste people’s time! Just take it off your menu then if you’re out!

While the quality of the flavor varies from dish to dish, the lack of knowledge about gluten free meals (even when they are flagged on their menus) and cross contamination procedures makes it really hard to trust them for Celiac or Gluten Allergy people that want to try Latin American food.

First of all, the food is terrible, the service is slow and the price of the food is exaggerated. It was a bad experience. On top of all that, the waiter added 20% tips.

We had originally planned to go to Campuzanos but it was packed and horrible parking. Glad we ended up here because the food and service were great. Found my new favorite Venezuelan restaurant!!Parking: Did not struggle to find parking.

I opted for the breakfast sandwich with chorizo, and it was absolutely delicious - the bread was perfectly toasted, and the chorizo added a flavorful kick. The coffee was also excellent too!

Love the food, if you want a taste of South America, this is a great place! Tequeños, arepas and cachapas are one of my favorite! Today I tried the shrimp dish and I added plantains and it did not disappoint! Exquisite!!! Also, the caipirinhas and mojitos are on point made with real sugar?

I'm not a local in Dallas, but I found this Latino restaurant that reminds me of my roots. The three times I've visited, the food has been delicious. However, the second time I went, the service wasn't the best, so I decided not to leave a tip that time (opposite to the first time). Today, I went for lunch since I was in the area, and the food was really good, and the service had improved until the bill arrived. They included a 20% tip, and when I asked the reason, the girl replied, 'Because last time you didn't leave a tip,' which shocked me. She also said, 'I hope you value our work.' I've always tipped well when the service is good, as I've been a waitress myself and know what it's like, and actually thought about last time that I didn’t leave tip and I wanted to leave this time because as I said, the service was better. However, I don't think that was the right approach. It's definitely a very good restaurant, but I won't be returning.
