We celebrated a friend's birthday and turns out this is the place for birthday celebrations as there was another party going on across from us. Zest Cafe is a super cute corner cafe, that is open, bright and lively. The staff was very nice and were well equipped to manage a full restaurant. They were very accommodating as our large party consisted of gifts, a cake and booster seats.We snacked on a sampler platter of almond croissants, kouign-amann, and apple cinnamon muffins. The croissant was a little dry, but the muffin and the kouign-amann were moist and delicious. We also shared plates of the edamame hummus and deviled eggs that were both really good.I thoroughly enjoyed the lavender st. Germain spritz and the togarashi tuna and ancient grain salad.

Very disappointed, I have been here a few times for brunch and have always enjoyed it, food is yummy, drinks are great! Leaving Pilates this afternoon and noticed the 1/2 off wine for HH sign so I popped in. Lady at the counter poured my glass of wine and mentioned she didn’t know how to ring it up and would find out, so I sat down to enjoy my wine which I did. When I went to leave, I had to go up to the counter to pay & that’s when she decided to tell me that the half price wasn’t for glasses but only for bottles! Sign does not specify nor did she when she poured my glass, disappointed for sure.

This place!! RUN! The food is SO fresh and perfectly plated! Avi is such a beautiful person; so kind and friendly. We will Always make this our mother daughter date place! ❤️Ask for her secret dessert; to die for!
I really went in with the idea that I would hate this place. But I didn’t. The service was excellent and the food more than serviceable. It’s a little stark for my taste, but it’s that kind of neighborhood. Not cheap, but again the neighborhood. Fantastic bloody Mary. I will come back just for that.
