Heard it had new owners but disappointed that the results are about the same. Had a 3 meat plate and the ribs were mostly fat. The brisket tasted plain and the highlight of the plate was a side of ranch potatoes. Not many BBQ places near Deer Park but this will still remain as my last choice. Wish the new 1st impression was better because it's the closest to me, but sadly it wasn't.?

Absolutely lovely place! The restaurant is so quaint. The menu is amazing! The loaded fries were unbelievably good. I had chicken and dumplings which was fantastic... the sweet tea is on point!

Been going here for years and food and service has always been good .I hate to say anything negative about this place but yesterday I ordered brisket and sausage for dinner and the brisket was terrible it was like chewing on a sponge no taste tons of fat . I was very disappointed . Probably will try some place different next time .

We went here on Saturday, it was my first time and it was amazing. The chicken had a great flavor on its own but when the BBQ sauce was added it was perfection. The sliced beef was so tender it fell apart. The mashed potatoes were perfect all by themselves but I added a little BBQ sauce to see what that would be like and it was over the moon good. We live across town, but we will definitely be going back.

Would give 1000 stars!!! The bbq sandwich was delicious and the heart attack fries are a must get when you go!!! There was more than enough and the banana pudding was a delight! Highly recommend them and we will be back!!!

My family and I have been visiting Cattle Drive for a couple of decades now and the beef spuds are always OUTSTANDING. I am sure the other food is also great, but I am hooked on those spuds. The potatoes are consistent in great quality and texture. The meat and sauce are delicious and the overall package is a rather large portion. There are several barbecue places around the Houston area that we are fond of, but in our opinion Cattle Drive offers THE superior beef spud.On a side note, my wife is partially paralyzed and wheelchair bound and we have found the staff to be quite compassionate and quick to assist us with logistical issues in regard to wheelchair friendly seating and etc. The young lady often seen ringing the lunchtime orders (whose name escapes me) is especially kind to my wife and often helps us carry our trays to the table when my hands are full (without being asked).I am stunned by some of the negative Google reviews that have been written. Our level of satisfaction has always been 100%, even during the pandemic. I am sure everyone makes mistakes and has bad days, but my family has never been disappointed with either Cattle Drive's food or service. My only objective critique would be the fact that when we dine in, our clothes smell smoky for the remainder of the day, but what a small price to pay for excellent barbecue. We live approximately 40 minutes away from Cattle Drive, but those beef spuds are ALWAYS worth the drive.
I have been eating here since I was a little girl. My Father and Grandparents eat here every week! I grew up right down the street from here and would even walk with my friends and eat BBQ baked potatoes! In my opinion this is the best BBQ joint you will find! Everything here is delicious! Due to Covid, my family and I have been having Cattle Drive provide our Thanksgiving dinner as well! Our Turkey was smoked to perfection and all the sides were amazing! LOVE the stuffing! We are looking forward to another awesome Thanksgiving dinner from Cattle Drive this year as well! Thank you guys!!

First time visiting Cattle Drive BBQ , and can easily say it will be my last. I ordered the two meat plate with turkey, BBQ chicken, house potatoes and mac n cheese. I also had the cattle cake which was sadly the best (yet still unsatisfying) part of my meal. The turkey had the appearance of store bought deli meat, and was tasteless. The chicken was undercooked and tasteless also. The mac n cheese was extremely runny and the potatoes appeared to have been sitting (cooked days ago). The cattle cake didn't taste fresh at all. The entire meal was pricey and unsatisfying. If you're thinking of trying Cattle Drive BBQ, just don't do it. You'll do better with a fast food burger joint honestly.

Order our food and it got here quickly and was great...I had the PBJ and I ate every drop...this sandwich is huge and worth every penny!! You have to try it~

Ordered 2 pounds of sliced beef. Got at least one pound of fat and charred beef. I agree with the review saying hit or miss. This was the worst BBQ I've ever had. I've been going here ever since it opened. I hate to have to change, because when it's good, it is excellent. Had to drive back to return it. Unfit to eat.
