The little lady waiting on us was sweet. If you’re wanting crawfish don’t waste your money. They are steamed and drowned in butter with minced garlic. Definitely not Cajun. Also they definitely need to check their scale. Definitely short on the weight. Really didn’t matter. They were just horrible.

Omg! This place has really good food. Our party of 15 tried out a lot of their food and EVERYONE raved about their dish. I had shrimp and grits. I'm really picky about that dish. Grits we're cooked right, creamy and I wanted more. Shrimp cooked perfection. They have a great chef. Price very reasonable $10-20 at lunch time. Our waitress was great considering we came without warning but she handled us and our separate checks perfectly. This will become a favorite.

Food is not good.Grease soaked fish. Gumbo has a weird taste and is like soup. The good reviews on this place are definitely padded.

I had the Zydeco plate from the lunch menu. I don’t even really like fried catfish, but this catfish was moist and juicy on the inside, and I really liked the batter. The gumbo I thought was delicious and I added just enough Cajun chef hot sauce to make it really excellent. I’m definitely returning.

To-go Shrimp Po'Boy is boiled shrimp that have been fried; not butterflied. Requested no spice but got it anyway. I know that it is "New Orleans" but cannot have spice. They seemed to undertand. Dressed nicely but no flavor except spice. Must be "farm-raised" shrimp and cooked in spice. Accompanying onion rings looked good but totally limp; soggy. But waste. Just beware if you want a true Po'Boy; either make your own or go elsewhere. Way too expensive for what they served. Was excited to see this place here in DP; but, they will not stay long if they do not shape up! DPGirl
