Food was delicious, had the pozole and beans, only thing is little hidden, but otherwise people know about it and where it's located, alot of parking.
We come here almost every time we come into town to visit with my family. We are huge fans of the pozole.
I rarely write 5 star reviews and usually tends to be because of one outstanding employee that gave us the best service in a loooong time! Thank you Angela! We hesitated to order but the way we saw you taking care of everything in order despite it being busy we decided to stay and give it a shot! Y’all!! She was running register order after order and had everything ready with the most positive attitude towards customers! We will never hesitate to stop by when we see Angela up there! Amazing food, and outstanding customer service! Thank you Angela at Ajillos! 🌮 💗
Great food, but we had to wait about 45 minutes for food to arrive, and it was packaged up as to-go when we were dine-in, so lots of packets of sides to fiddle with.
I am giving this place 5 stars. You want inexpensive, good tacos fast - this is a great place, not fancy. They give you the basic taco - al pastor or beef - and the fixin's as sides. You build them how you like them. The sides were all very fresh. Service was quick. You buy packs of tacos. I think the smallest number is 4. They are not big. 4 is a good number for 1 person.
The food was fantastic! The best in town. The cashier wasn’t the best at people skills. That’s was the only disappointing thing about this place. Also there was huge pot holes outside. This place was so clean the chips and salsa were amazing! Outstanding food!
I’m so happy my friends introduced me to this AMAZING restaurant!
I’m sad because I’ve lived here majority of my life and just found out about this establishment a few months ago.
My favorite dish, the Cali burrito, is ALWAYS so delicious!
Awesome staff and good food!
Wow, what a disappointment! We went to dine in. You do have to stand at the counter and order. We went with our 3 kids. There were no options for sides such as beans or rice, so our little one who likes to eat a plain bean taco did not eat. Next, we did order ranchero beans but there were some hard beans in it. The flavor was decent. A huge disappointment was the queso flameado which came in a small aluminum tin. I immediately sent it back because it was hardened. She mentioned the microwave. It came back on a plate. Older kid likes this usually but did not like it and neither did I. Clearly it was not cooked in the typical cast iron pan. Also the flour tortillas were store bought so that was a big negative. The bistec tacos were plain and not great. The corn tortillas were a steamed and not cooked on comal consistency. The tacos tapatios were ok. I've had better from taco trucks. One other huge negative is everything was served on Styrofoam even though it's a dine-in place. Styrofoam, when heated, releases chemicals that then get into your food. They also used those super cheap plastic forks that break easily. When I asked for a metal fork, the girl said she had to wash some and so I waited for that. Another negative was that we could not get tap water. The 12 oz cans were 2.50 and everything else was more (tea 3.25) and we just weren't wanting sugared drinks. The (paid for) chips and salsa came in a small square Styrofoam and the salsa was in a small condiment container. The chips were probably the best tasting item. Salsa was not a great chips salsa. We wanted to try something new but I think we will stick to our usual restaurants next time. Wish it had worked out because we live around the block. My guess is that this business survives on takeout from the 2 schools next to it. Our total was about $59 for a plate of Bistec tacos, an order of tacos tapatios, a Queso flameado (only came with one tortilla so we ordered 3 more), a small chips and salsa, and one small serving of beans. 4 drinks made about $14 of that. My general feeling was that we paid $59 and did not receive quality food or service for that money. Please don't take customers' money and put very little effort into providing good food and service.

My husband and I love this place! We usually eat in but will get take out occasionally. We do a mixed 12 piece taco for the both of us and they come with red onion, white onion, cilantro, limes, cucumber, a red salsa and a green salsa. There is always enough toppings and everything is fresh and hot! They are not far from base and easy to get to. If you call ahead chances are your food will be ready before you get there.

The atmosphere is nice, I ordered some delicious suckling pig and chicken muffins, the waiter was super attentive, the dresser is economical for what they provide and the quality, the only thing I could say is the juice, which is artificial.

Authentic Mexican at a fair price! Street tacos are amazing, I find myself going back just for those sometimes. The tapitios were great too and the food is served quick.

Food is always delicious but unfortunately tonight our orders were short. I had two separate orders at different times, one order was a Pirata and the other was a Gringo...they both had very little cheese and it wasn't melted. The point of both of these meals is the quesadilla part so tonight's meals fell short. I and spoke to someone on the Pirata and was told they would let the cook know. I called about the Gringa but no answer. I also order beans which have always been delicious and tonight the were a bit spicier then before still good I just noticed the difference.

Good Tacos in Del Rio, good salsas and garnishes for your tacos. Pozole has great pork broth flavor, making it one of the best in Del Rio.
