“Great customer service, and quick orders to go. It's a tricky way to order so you order with the cook first, they give you a order verification receipt. Take that receipt to the cashier and pay, then they will stamp your receipt with a " Paid " red stamp. After the stamp is placed take the receipt back to the cook at the end of the counter, there the cook will get your order and keep your "paid" receipt. It's a little confusing but it works. They have a condiment bar available for your access.

“One thing is for sure. You will not leave hungry. From their breakfast to the lunch buffet. Everything is really tasty. The breakfast menu is really good. On certain days the buffet will have "discada", which is very hard to find east of Ft. Stockton. Their red chili pork is also very good. The staff is friendly and courteous. A good place to have a meal.

“I'm from Del Rio and have fond memories of a good barbacoa. I'd been to a couple of places but they weren't the same. Finally, someone told me about El Toro so I checked it out. AMAZING barbacoa hands down compared to any place I'd been to during my visit.

I don't usually eat menudo out, but it came with my order so I tried it. The menudo was out of this world.

“Dining room only open to 5pm. Drive thru until 8pm. We didn't know and tried to stop in for dinner. The lady at the window was very helpful and we got take out instead. Food was yummy and a good change of pace from bar and grill food. Pad Thai was particularly good with a good spice. Excellent all around! Would recommend!”

In requesting to speak with her to thank her personally, I discovered her name is Mo. It was so refreshing to see, here, and know that there are still people, like Mo, out here that have her type of work ethic, professionalism, and delightful customer service. “If I could give this place 10 Startls I would. Stopped at a different restaurant here in Del Rio and left because they charge $7.99 for chips & salsa. When I pulled up I knew I made the right choice. Walked in and the atmosphere was do amazing, felt right at home actually. They had to buffet today, the selection was amazing, the flavor, and taste was some of the best Mexican food I have tasted in a very long time. Joel was my server and let me tell you he is the BEST server I have had the pleasure of meeting. I was a server many years ago and have never met someone genuine as Joel. He goes above and beyond for not just is customers but others also. I come here allot for work and this will be my place for now on. Thank you for such a relaxing, comfortable and delicious lunch.”
