We loved how the beef steak was cut on small pieces in their savory ranchero sauce. Their Mazeca tortillas in authentic Mexico style were Amazing. Very friendly staff and a great local find. “I'm from Del Rio and have fond memories of a good barbacoa. I'd been to a couple of places but they weren't the same. Finally, someone told me about El Toro so I checked it out. AMAZING barbacoa hands down compared to any place I'd been to during my visit.

I don't usually eat menudo out, but it came with my order so I tried it. The menudo was out of this world.

When I pulled up I knew I made the right choice. Walked in and the atmosphere was do amazing, felt right at home actually. They had to buffet today, the selection was amazing, the flavor, and taste was some of the best Mexican food I have tasted in a very long time. Joel was my server and let me tell you he is the BEST server I have had the pleasure of meeting. I was a server many years ago and have never met someone genuine as Joel. He goes above and beyond for not just is customers but others also. I come here allot for work and this will be my place for now on. Thank you for such a relaxing, comfortable and delicious lunch.“
