They say you get what you pay for and here it is absolutely true. It's a bit pricey, but it's cheaper than driving to Memphis because that's where I was the last time I had food this good. The staff is really friendly and helpful as well. You can trust their recommendations. I had no intent of buying the jalapeño sausage until they offered me a sample taste. You better believe I bought a pound of that too!
This place is really cool. Plenty of seating and a real Texas feel. The moist brisket is the way to go. The lean was good but the moist was way better - not too fatty like some other places that serve moist.We had corn on the cib and the new potatoes that were good. Loved the food. They were out of prime rib ?. the service is excellent, I was greeted, and after a short conversation where I mentioned this was my first visit, the very attentive gentleman gave me a quick tour.
