Was in drive thru for over 20 min for food. When we tried ordering at 910pm the cashier said without any professional courtesy Kitchens Closed.
We thought we heard incorrectly and asked to repeat, cashier pretended he didnt hear and asked us to repeat twice. He fumbled and then made a half hearted excuse that it's too hot in the kitchen.

Asked for a double jalitos burger, got a single and everything upside down, meat was burnt and dry, bread was flattened like the cook was angry. The bacon burger dried burnt beef two bacon strips and everything upside down and flattened. This happened around 3:45 March 4th 2025, Never going back.

Never have ice they close at 10 and run out and dont bother making more ice for customers disappointed starting to act like McDonald's with there ice-cream as also drive through lady was rude and giving dirty look when i asked why they couldn't make more

This is by far the worst DQ I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to A LOT. The ice cream taste nothing like DQ ice cream. This location is doing something different with their ice cream. It’s not smooth and creamy. More like icy which completely ruins it. They shouldn’t be part of the franchise if they are going to change the ice cream. I gave them a couple of tries after moving to the area and I won’t be back. Locals have said the same thing.

This evening went to Visit Del Rio Dairy Queen and ordered 2 Banana Splits, upon receiving them we noticed the ice cream used was different, it was off colored and more ice granular not the white creamy ice cream Dairy Queen is known for. After talking to the manager I asked if ingredients had been changed he stated that no ingredients had been changed and that it was probably the machine not work correctly, I then asked him if he ever samples the ice cream to know if the product is up to the standards to be severed to the customers, as we all know Dairy Queen is known for their creamy smooth ice cream. Well this manager stated he never samples the ice cream. I let him know that he was going to lose customers if he did not correct the problem, at which he responded that the customer would go to Dairy Queen regardless of quality. Let me just tell you I will not be going back to Dairy Queen again. Not with this attitude and lack of product quality. Very poor ice cream quality and extreme lack of concern. The end result was we threw our 2 Banana splits away due to the poor quality of the product.

Del Rio went downhill after COVID 19? Dirty and people catching sicknesses?
There was only 1 car ahead of me and I waited in the drive thru for at least 10 minutes. I only ordered a blizzard.
When I got to the window, 4 employees were just standing there ... some on their phone.
I received my blizzard and drove off. It wasn't until I almost got home that I realized that the few toppings it had had not been mixed it properly as only the top 1/4 has a small amount of toppings and bottom didn't.
I paid extra for pecans and it only had a couple.
