We got to check out Julio’s while they sponsored the Holy Guacamole Cinco de Mayo Fest in Concan! We got to try some chips and salsa which were both amazing! Definitely makes us want to make the trip to Del Rio to check them out! BUT they also were testing out some jerky and we were so disappointed that they weren’t selling it yet because it was SO SO good! This is our unofficial petition for Julio’s to start selling their jerky! It was so tender and spiced perfectly! They guys out there have us absolutely convinced our next weekender will be to Del Rio! Anyways, highly recommend!

The food wasn’t as good as their chips. The taco shell was stale & not hot. Everything else was just mediocre. We love their chips so I was a little disappointed.

Not worth the drive, better of getting a bag of chips fro your local H-E-B. The food was not up to par. My enchiladas were Burt and the rice and beans had no flavor what so ever. Do not recommend. Sorry

The best tortilla chips I have ever had. We tried a bag on vacation in Texas and became addicted. They don’t sell these in my state so I was able to order online. My family members who were not with us in Texas tried them and fell in love with them. Please start selling them in other states!!

I ordered a Bacon and egg plate, with eggs over medium. Before my food came, I was informed that "the bacon and eggs were mixed together". I acceded. What I got was an IKEA Do-it-Yourself breakfast taco. A pile of scrambled eggs (with bacon mixed in), a group of potatoes, a stack of beans, a mess of crunchy bacon chunks and two tortillas. As is Julio's normal practice, none of it (except the tortillas) was really hot. I built a single taco. By the time I got it assembled, everything was cold. I ate the cold D-I-Y Taco and then proceeded to choke down the rest. Cold eggs, cold bacon, cold beans, cold potatoes. The good thing was, it made the mediocre coffee taste better. But not enough for a second cup. Why do I keep doing this to myself.

We had seen the reviews for Mexican food in Del Rio and told to stop on our way to Big Bend for lunch. This was right on the road and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Totally enjoyed the meal. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
