Lovely little gem! I love the old school feel of the place, you can tell its been there forever! The food was great, and hot! The French fries are HUGE! I love that. The only thing is they are sooo busy, we felt like we didnt have enough time to really decide, we just rushed it. I recommend checking out the menu before coming in, but I do recommend this place! We will be back!
Literally whataburger with big fries. As the story goes, the owner used to work for Whataburger years ago. He ventures out on his own and starts his own burger joint. I've heard the story for years but never been by. I went a couple of nights ago and seriously, if you had blindfolded me, i could swear their burgers were Whataburger. That being said, they're good burgers... Of you like Whataburger, you'll like these. They're curly fries are very good and their regular fries are FAT. They'll ask if you like extra crispy, i recommend that because they're so big. If you like Whataburger you'll like this place..i think their prices are actually a bit better.

This was our first trip to Salas after someone told us we needed to try it. Salas Better Burger truly lives up to their name! The burgers are juicy and delicious! The ribeye burger, which was less than $12 for the combo, was delicious with onions and mushrooms. We ordered the fries, curly fries, and onion rings. Our favorite ended up being the fries! The employee that helped us order was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and selections. There was plenty of seating around the time we got there, probably around 2 pm, but they did start getting busy as we were finishing up. Our order took about as long as it takes for line service to get to our table. We'll definitely be back!

The food is delicious! I am gluten-free, and I was able to order the hamburger lettuce wrap. It was so good! Everything is fresh, including the large fries. Best place in Del Rio to get a hamburger.
