“We went to this place to order take out. It was reasonably priced and good size portions. Service was quick and staff was very nice. The food was good, especially their refried beans. Not too salty and cooked to perfection. What I noticed was their buffet. It looked amazing and such a wonderful price. It had fresh fruit too. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that they didn't serve any desserts other than brownies on their buffet. We were hoping for tres leches or other types of Mexican desserts or sweet breads.“

Starting with the atmosphere, the place has a nice, relaxed vibe. The decor is warm and rustic, which fits the steakhouse theme well. It feels like the kind of place you could enjoy a long dinner with friends or family. The lighting and music were just right—not too loud, not too dim. There’s definitely effort put into making the setting feel welcoming and comfortable.
As for the food, it was just OK. Not bad, but nothing to really rave about either. The steaks were decent, but I’ve had better cuts and seasoning elsewhere. The sides were a bit underwhelming and didn’t quite stand out. It's the kind of meal you forget pretty quickly after leaving.
The biggest downside was the service. It was noticeably slow from the moment we walked in. We waited quite a while to be seated even though it wasn’t packed, and the time it took to get our food felt excessive. Our server was polite but seemed overwhelmed or possibly understaffed.
Overall, Manuel’s has potential, especially with its atmosphere, but both the food and service could use improvement to justify a return visit.“

“Had an early dinner at IHOP on Christmas Day after seeing a movie and was pleasantly surprised. The dining room was very clean and we were seated right away. Alfredo G was our server. He was polite and attentive. It took a little longer than usual for our food to arrive, but it was hot and our orders were correct. I had the shrimp and fries and husband had the chocolate pancakes. We were so grateful they were open on Christmas Day since it appeared everything else in Del Rio was closed. I didn’t give 5 stars because I would like to see some healthier vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.“
