“Stumbled upon Mam Mam after visiting the stationary store across the street.
Wanted to try the curry since it had thai and Malaysian influences. I told the cashier I missed malay food a lott (having grown up in nyc with malaysian parents) and I'm trying to find some good ones in austin 😭
The chef also threw in some fish sauce wings on the house which was so sweet! 🥹 friendly service & everything was so yummy~ the roti reminded me of home -- will definitely be back to try other menu items!“

“It's been 3 years since I stumbled upon TacoWey on 6th street on a trip to Austin. I went back every night for the Al Pastor. These are the BEST tacos I have ever had and I think about them often. I've strongly considered driving to Austin from Tennessee just for these tacos and nothing else. I have not been able to find anything like these since. Miss you, TacoWey.“

“The best tacos in Austin, go there now. Carnitas is my favorite, campechano is close behind. Corn tortillas are homemade and amazing.“

“This food truck deserves a higher rating than the current 4.7. I was told the truck has been there 15 years and tacos originally cost $1.50. They are currently $3.50, and you can only pay with cash. That is the best price you'll find in Austin for tacos of this quality. Tax is included in the price, so you pay exactly $3.50 per taco. The service is fast and friendly.“
“I live about five minutes from this place. I stumbled upon it on a Google search. I ordered some breakfast tacos here, and the lady who took my order was incredibly helpful and friendly. The CHICHARRON egg taco was absolutely delicious! The price was reasonable, and the quality of the tacos was top notch. I highly recommend this small local business. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu items.“

“This was a fantastic stop on a casual Saturday morning. Staff was responsive, polite, and worked pretty quickly. We ordered vegan biscuits and gravy and they were spot on! We’ll definitely return. Outside seating. Parking was a bit of a challenge that only added to the fun.“
“It's hard to go wrong with breakfast tacos in ATX and this spot is no exception. After going on a Saturday morning when they opened at 8 a.m., here's my experience:1) Food: They have a full taco menu, including a large breakfast taco menu. For one hungry person, three breakfast tacos is plenty. I ordered a ham taco, a chorizo taco and a bacon taco. The winner was the bacon. Use all the salsa it comes with! They also give you an option of a flour or corn tortilla.2) Price: For three medium-sized breakfast tacos, my bill was $7.50. This taco truck in a parking lot used to be cash only, but now they accept major credit cards.3) Seating: There are a few picnic tables in the shade nearby.“

“Amazing! Dont waste your money anywhere else. This place should get 10 stars. We had Jamaica (Ha-Mic-Ka) it's hibiscus water. And I had to try the Horchata (Or-Cha-tha) it's a ground rice, almond and cinnimon water. Both were refreshing in this 100⁰F weather. But there's more, those werent even the main attraction. The tacos are to die for, just like grandma use to make. You also get lettuce and tomatoes it's like a little salad on the side. And dont worry about not having enough Salsa because the salsa comes in a ziplock bag to go. Don't take my word for it, stop by and try one of everything.“
