Some girls were dressed formal, as if they were at a wedding reception. The outside area is very chill Staff is extremely helpful. 100% wheelchair accessible. Nice place. Comfortable bar. Good selection. Bartender was friendly. Problem is I ordered a glass of Eagle Rare and was charged $32.00. That’s a $55.00 bottle and I paid $32.00 for an ounce and a half. I pay half that for Blanton’s in Dallas.

Wow! What a find. Just driving through pulling a trailer looking for a good drink. The bartender, Mauricio, was outstanding. Great cocktails. Great conversation. Super friendly. We’ll make it a point to drive back through Denison.

Stopped by 1880 Ice House expecting a fun, welcoming bar experience, and was completely let down. From the moment we walked in, we were met with… nothing. No greeting, no service, no acknowledgment we even existed. We waited, looked around, tried to flag someone down and nothing.
After about 15 minutes of this, we gave up and headed up the road where we were actually waited on.
If you’re looking for a place to be ignored while you question whether you accidentally wandered into a closed business, 1880 Ice House might be for you. Otherwise, save your time and go literally anywhere else.

Had our 20th reunion, during a tornado non the less, still had cold drinks, good music, and fun atmosphere. Would recommend anyone visiting the area to check this little gem out!
Great plane to get together and just hang out when the weather is nice. But drinks are on the expensive side and from my experience, if they are really busy, then your drinks are a bit lacking.
