I wish we could afford to eat here once a month or so. As it is, we definitely spend special occasions here. This was our 51st anniversary. We both had Filet Mignon Oscar, and we shared cheesecake. I had a glass of Chianti and a Tawny Port. Everything was excellent. We will look forward to our next meal there.

I had a lovely craft cocktail to start my dinner followed promptly by the wedge salad. It was fresh and crisp with a delicious blue cheese dressing and a substantial, yet not overwhelming amount of bacon. Some pork bites really added to the dish. I had a side of the broccolini and the double barrel pork chop - perfection. The vegetables were in that perfect state of fully cooked and tender while retaining a touch of “snap” and texture to the bite. Perfectly cooked with garlic, they were perhaps the best preparation I've ever eaten but the star of the show was the pork chop. Brined and balanced, cooked fully but still juicy, and smokey but in a way that really highlighted the “porkiness” of the chop. After all, if you want steak or chicken you should order that. But these chops were off the chart. I would have loved to sample dessert but simply had no capacity. The portions were ample but not overwhelming. It really was a seriously good meal I'd put on par with any 5-star steakhouse down in Dallas.

I’m hard to impress with steakhouses but Chophouse absolutely killed it. Great tomahawk steak, great appetizers, great service, and great atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next work visit to Denison as I’ll be returning for round two!

Been there twice. First time was great however, the second visit was less than impressive. Waiter was super slow and food took forever. Steaks were overcooked and tough. We went with some friends and didn’t want to complain. To drop $350 for dinner and leave disappointed is not a good thing. We also drive over an hour to get there. Love the atmosphere and cool vibes but should do better.
