I’m hard to impress with steakhouses but Chophouse absolutely killed it. Great tomahawk steak, great appetizers, great service, and great atmosphere. I’m looking forward to my next work visit to Denison as I’ll be returning for round two!

Been there twice. First time was great however, the second visit was less than impressive. Waiter was super slow and food took forever. Steaks were overcooked and tough. We went with some friends and didn’t want to complain. To drop $350 for dinner and leave disappointed is not a good thing. We also drive over an hour to get there. Love the atmosphere and cool vibes but should do better.

I went to check out the place because I knew it was new, but unfortunately, the atmosphere was quite disappointing. There was no soft background music, and the tables were all crowded together. On a positive note, the waitress was wonderful—very attentive and kind. As for the food, half of it was good, but the mushrooms were extremely salty and inedible. People were speaking very loudly, and the dim lighting, rather than creating an elegant ambiance, made the place feel rather depressing.
The paintings were beautiful, though.
I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s overpriced, uncomfortable, and boring.

We had the most amazing experience! We all ordered the filet and it was the finest steak we have ever eaten, and we live in cattle country! For our sides we had broccolini, brussel sprouts, and twice baked potato. For dessert we got the creme brulee, bread pudding and the chocolate cake, everything was beyond excellent! Ask for Derek Tomes, he will treat you right! The next time we are in Texas we will most definitely eat here again!

The food was very good. Enjoyed the steak. Mine was perfect but my dining companion asked for medium rare and got medium but still was a fantastic meal. If were back in the area will definitely come back.

This was the first time trying this place. It was unbelievable! My husband had a steak. He said it was the best steak he has had in a long time. I has the chef salad and onion rings. It was so delicious and the best onion rings I have ever had! The service was also amazing. Will definitely be back!

On this night we were able to have the good fortune to hear John Crocker. He's played with some pretty big names and was a delight to see. He's there again this weekend, Saturday night.
