The manager was absolutely rude. I told him I was that at the Sherman Church’s Chicken and purchased my order when a vehicle ran into the building. I went to Denison Church’s to see if they would help me get the chicken I purchased at Sherman since the police and ambulance were there helping care for the employees. A long shot but a shot I took due to the circumstances. He told me that if someone ran into his Church’s Chicken, he would’ve shot them! Then told me he was not Sherman and why I’m here for Sherman’s Church’s. Then he walked away from me. I told him he could’ve been polite about the whole situation and the way he relayed his non-involvement with the Sherman store. He said why am I still here. I told him he sucks. Then he closed the drive thru window. After the dust settled with the Sherman Church’s after the terrible accident, which btw involved 2 like 80+ year old men crashing their vehicle into the store injuring the workers, the Sherman store manager and the team helped to settle my refund while they were there cleaning up the debris and equipment. Denison’s manager from about 2:55 to 3:30 on 14 December 2025 was the worst. Forget the rudeness to me, but to say you would shoot someone who accidentally ran into your store is appalling. He showed no care for human life. There’s no way that Church’s stands for this type of poor management, customer service, and care.

They always forget stuff and take way to long when only one person on store are drive i door dash and two time they have forgot my drink are some chicken are sides tonight they did it again and forgot my two sides and my poor dasher had to go back and get it . I am not happy i only gave 3 stars because the food is good .

Pulled up to the driver thru and the lady answering the speaker was very rude and disrespectful. Then pulled up to window an she wanted to proceed being disrespectful So we drove off . That's the second time it happened. And the manger just stood there and allowed her to be disrespectful.

I see my experience is a part of a theme on their reviews. I was in drive through & they charged me & gave me items I did not order. My $22 order came back $31 on my receipt. I asked to be refunded the difference & they can keep the food & drinks I did not order. She told me I would have to come into the dining room so she could wait on people behind me. I knew that meant I wouldn't get helped for a long time so I said I'd just wait & she could finish waiting on me. I was not rude. She was & started yelling at me. I just kept saying if she would have given me back the $9 when I first asked for it, I would already be gone. Finally, the owner threw $31 in cash, the amount charged to my card, into my car & yelled to never come back because he won't wait on me. He must have thought that because I stayed calm & respectful but firm in my conviction, that I'd come back. Their food is really good & their close to my house but I'll only support businesses that have ethical & honest morals. If you do eat here, do the math before you pay.

I went through the drive through and ordered 2 pc combo w/ mashed potatoes & sweet tea, 3 pc tenders w/mashed potatoes & sweet tea. She hurriedly repeated the order through the horrible speaker which made it indistinguishable & said to pull forward. I paid with cash, got my receipt & change. While waiting on the food, I reviewed the receipt. Was charged for 3 pc chicken, 3pc tender & 2 sides of m.potatoes. Got a sack of food & she close the window. Didn't look like she was getting our drinks, so I motioned for her & told her I was waiting on the drinks. She said that would be $6.04. I said they are included in the combos. She said you didn't order combos. Yes I did. Well I didn't take your order. Get the girl that did. She comes to window, same discussion. I said get the manager. He comes over and argues that he can't give away free food because his boss is watching on video. He argues & argues. Told him to give me money back & I'll return the food. I said, this is very bad customer service & will be even worse because I will tell all my friends not to eat there and I will never come back. He said I DON'T CARE. MY BOSS IS WATCHING & I CAN'T GIVE FREE FOOD AWAY! Well, did his boss see food being returned and money given back to a dissatisfied customer?

When I got my receipt, I noticed I was charged almost $17 for my $11 mixed chicken meal. The restaurant already upcharges for mixed, but these scammers add additional charges. I went inside to discuss the charges and things got worse. The manager tells me I'm complaining about $3. I said, yes, it's my money! The manager then says, it's self explanatory. I asked for a full refund, which he then says, you have to give us back our chicken, you don't get free food. I informed him that I hadn't received any chicken and in fact, didn't even want the drink or anything else from them. This location is dirty, and run down. The kitchen is stripped of almost everything. I'm not understanding how this place passed any inspection and is able to operate in this condition. They use the language barrier as a smoke screen to scam customers. They have no respect or appreciation for the community they operate in. Don't eat here.

I have never been inside, but the girls are a hoot, and so is the owner. My dad prefers to eat at whatever restaurant or fast food he fancies for the day and enjoys eating there while he is out.
