I didn’t go In store but ordered online for the food. I ordered 20 tamales bundle, with chips and queso, horchata, and a small thing of rice. The tamales had 2 pieces of hair that were brown to light brown, me and my husband have black hair. Tamales were also thrown together, they were falling apart. Horchata was very gritty!! Took one sip and I was done. The taste of the food was okay, but I wouldn’t go or order food from this place again.

On two occasions I ordered the same burrito and tamale, both times they charged me for both and they didn't give me the tamale. I don't think I will return even though the food is acceptable.

The tamales were good. The staff working this day the younger female was unfriendly and seemed to not want to be there. The senora was nice and helpful.

Denison Reviews

I’ve had some food from here be satisfactory, but lately it seems like they just keep cutting corners, like how their beans appear and taste to be watered down at times. Specifically when it’s the older cook cooking, for this reasons I won’t be returning to their food truck location. Will maybe give it another go once they open the restaurant.

They raised their prices recently and the food quality is the same. At their food truck location in Denison they give you less meat on your tacos now. And they’re always running out of sauces/ food options at times. Specifically always short on their fajita. The food, quesadillas/ tortas sometimes comes with big chunks of fat in the fajita meat.

Order the caldo de res in the bowl three pieces of meat six long green beans and a piece of calabasa no potatoes no corn so I got the bottom of the pot I will not visit the Sherman location again. Now the Morton location was the bomb but it's closed down.

They moved to fat daddy’s location

They're moving to the new location where "Big Daddy's/Nani's attick" used to be. Hope the new location is better than the old one. Specially with customer service. Sometimes the food is great and service isn't. Or vise versa service is good but food is

We are relatively new to Denison so this was our first time here. The street tacos were so good! The tamales I wish I had gotten more of they were not stingy at all with the meat. My husband even loved it (he will only eat his mother's tamales) but he really liked theirs! Will be back for sure

We used to eat here all the time. But it’s been awful lately. We have actually waited over 20 mins to be served and walked out.So I figured I would try ordering online. Big mistake. And I’m done with this place. I ordered chorizo queso online with my order. When the order was delivered, this is what we got. When I called them and asked them, she said yes. It’s supposed to be queso with chorizo. I told her I received just a box of chorizo. She said she had checked the order and it was chorizo queso. I offered to send her a picture of it and she argued for a minute and placed me on hold. Then comes back and says the kitchen was out of white queso. Thought u checked the order!? “Well I glanced at it”. What?I told her this isn’t what we ordered and I wasn’t trying to be hateful, but $10 for a box of chorizo that we aren’t going to eat is extreme. She said I should check with texoma delivery and get my money back. I said well texoma delivery is the delivery service, u ultimately got paid for it. She said Because there was melted cheese on top, it’s technically chorizo and queso. And I received the chorizo so she’s not doing anything. She refused to refund me. I asked if I could get a credit for chorizo queso and pick it up tomorrow. She said I already got chorizo with queso and was actually very rude and hung up on me. After i repeatedly said “I’m not trying to be a karen but this isnt what I ordered”.I won’t be returning.

I spent $47 dollars on fajitas and queso for my daughter n I. Delivery-order was delivered, this is what we got. When I called them and asked them if it was supposed to be queso…she said yes. It’s supposed to be queso with chorizo. I told her I received just a box of chorizo. She said she had checked the order and it was chorizo queso. I offered to send her a picture of it n she argued for a minute and she placed me on hold. Then comes back and says the kitchen was out of white queso. Thought u checked the order!? "Well I glanced at it". I told her this isn’t what we ordered and I wasn’t trying to be hateful, but $13 for a box of burned chorizo with a glob of cheese on top that we aren’t going to eat is extreme. She said I should check with texoma delivery and get my money back. I said well texoma delivery is the delivery service, u ultimately got paid for it. Don't be dumb.
