How absolutely disappointing!!!! 4 different things off YOUR own menu, you didn’t have. Your own waitress said you have been “like this” for over a month. What or who is the issue? In the past it was such a nice experience to eat there. Are you going out of business????

Maybe just for that day, all my dishes are more salty than we like. Unless this is how the local likes it. The prices are reasonable for food but the portion is small. Maybe fried food is a better choice here. The drinks are a bit higher than expected. A draft is $5. The restaurant is not packed, but still wait 30 minutes for our dishes.

Drove a hour and half to try this restaurant. I am an African woman who was with my African American husband. It was plenty seats available filled with white customers, we were escorted to the back with a different section with other African American customers who was there to eat like the others. Why were the Black customers separated from the others. I felt like we were on display because all The White customers kept looking at us as if we were an object. Myself and my partner left without ordering. It seemed like we were segregated and received poor customer service

Had a delicious chicken fried chicken entree from the Tuesday lunch special, very happy and it was way too much to eat in one setting. Reese did an excellent job as my server, I will ask for her on my next visit.

12/17/25 - DON'T ORDER THE POTATO SOUP UNLESS YOU WANT SIMPLY BOILED POTATOES (mostly) AND WATER! YUCK!!
SEVEN YEARS AGO, I WROTE THE FOLLOWING REVIEW...... They left the gravy off of my chicken fried steak on a to go lunch. It wasn't ordered without gravy. We order from here at least once a week. Last week, they left out my entree, but the manager was kind enough to bring it to me last week. This week, I cannot eat my main entree because I have no gravy and cannot leave the office to go get it. They offered no solution today other than for me to drive 12 miles round trip to pick up something that THEY forgot to include.
Be sure to check your order before you leave and make sure everything is included with your meal. I don't have this luxury because someone else picks up our order. More often than not, something is missing from our order. This is the third week in a row that something has been missing. Three strikes and you're out. I'm boycotting future lunches at Cotton Patch. I'm tired of being disappointed.

We sat there for an hour waiting for our food. Server comes out after an hour and says “I’m sorry we don’t chicken and dumplings.” An hour, it took an hour for them to realize there were no chicken and dumplings. Paid for our drinks and left…. Just a dumb experience….. an hour….

Came in for lunch & to order festive feast (ready to heat & eat holiday catering) for Christmas this year. Lunch had daily lunch (Fri - Tilapia). Had ordered the holiday catering last yr for Thanksgiving and is the reason we are ordering it again this yr for Christmas. Thank you Jenny for taking care of us today
