We really enjoyed the tour and all of the information that was shared. It was the main part of our weekend in Denison & we were not disappointed!

Took the tour & tasting at Ironroot Republic Distillery & was a most wonderful experience. The owners were so nice & absolutely informative as to how they started to where they are now. Bought several bottles to try. If you like bloody Mary's then you need to pick up a bottle of Ironroot Republic Evil Cowboy mix, Two Brothers Original. Delicious with a just right spicy kick. This is a must stop in Dennison, Tx.

Award winning and Local Distillery. Very welcoming and laid back vibe. We got some tasting's (at no cost) our host was amazing and knew a lot about Bourbon Whiskey. A few local people came in and recommended the hot sauce, bloody Mary mix and vodka...so we had to try them and yes!!!! The bloody Mary mix has a smokey bbq flavor, it's will work well in a michelada, the sauce is delicious and vodka a bit sweeter with a Carmel taste. We also got the chocolate shots...bite down on a piece of choclate and get a mouth full of whiskey. It was a fun visit. Thank you IronRoot.

A fine place with high spirits.

This distillery is the best location I have ever visited! From the founding family to the employed staff to the actual whiskey these individuals understand the core and values of creating whiskey and bourbon and I’m so grateful to have been apart of that process. Whether you’re new to the game or a veteran you will not be disappointed! They quite literally have something for everyone and every release they have I can’t wait to taste. They continue to be reasonably priced and me and my dad will continue to support them in anyway we can!

Excellent product and friendly staff

Didn't take the tour but stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. Josh was very friendly and informative. The whiskey tasting was great and I walked out with two bottles and a glencairn.

We went for the tour. What a fun and educational experience! The family of owners are very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend visiting to anyone who wants to try fine spirits, and learn more about distilling. Lovely time well spent. Will return.

The ironroot Promethean is absolutely wonderful. Blast of Carmel to the nose with a beautiful smokey palate and a smooth finish with very little heat. Highly recommend

Wow!!! I have been to several distillery tours in Texas but the was the best by far. The presentation was so informative, would be great for someone just starting their journey into whiskey.

The tour was led by the mom and one of founding sons. They are so passionate about whiskey and it really shows in their products. My wife and I sampled seven varieties of their spirits during the tour. To my surprise I like everything that I tried. I was planning on buying two bottles that were my favorite during the tasting but my plan did not go that well. We ended up buying four bottles, I hope we made the right choice. I left without buying many that I really enjoyed. I look forward to coming to Ironroot again!!!

A wonderful and robust distillery located in Denison, TX. This is the first distillery I’ve visited that has the exceptional distinction of scoring a perfect 100% in the realm of enjoying all the various whiskies they produce. It’s clear they take great care and instill great love into the spirits they make. I deeply lament I cannot find this in my home state, but I’ll always stock up when I’m back in TX. If you’re an enthusiast and you’ve not visited, you’re doing yourself a woeful disservice.

I had sampled some of the Ironroot Republic spirits at my local Total Wine store in Plano. The representative there was so informative, and the products so compelling, my wife and I decided to indulge in one of the tours and tastings Ironroot offers on the weekend. That turned out to be a really good decision. The tours are conducted by members of the family that own and operate the distillery; they have a fascinating story to tell, and they are excellent in their presentation. Our 90 minute tour lasted about 2 hours, and the time flew by. Along the way we tasted, perhaps, 10 of their offerings. Most were part of the official tasting, and a couple were sort of the denouement, conducted in the lobby. The family treats you so well, and they also serve as terrific ambassadors for their entire community. We'll probably do it again at some point and take some friends along next time. And, needless to say, some product made it's way back to Plano with my wife and me.
