The Frosted Shoppe is the best bakery around! They do everything — cakes, cookies, caramel apples, breads, you name it — and everything always tastes amazing. You can tell they put so much love into what they bake. We’ve been using The Frosted Shoppe for years, and they’ve always been reliable — every order comes out perfect, fresh, and exactly what I hoped for. The most sweetest people own/operate this establishment. Overall 10/10 experience working with them on my dream wedding cake. Amazing prices, several options and hands down best tasting cake EVER. My wedding cake was custom made to match my wedding and lord was it beyond perfect! I was a customer before my wedding and I will continue to give all of my baking needs business to them!

I was excited to use this local business again, for an event, late next month. Unfortunately, That excitement was quickly diminished and I left disappointed. The greeting upon arrival was very unwelcoming. I was approached with negativity throughout the visit this time around; it really took me by surprise. Upon being asked, I explained my reason for the visit but kept getting interrupted mid-sentences( I couldn’t get when the event would be, ideas, and possible alternative options out fast enough). The conversation continued with abrasive interruptions... I just had to walk out. Customers are coming to the establishment for your expertise and talent. Such interruptions can really cause confusion; not only for the customer, but for the employees. This leads to being all over the place and losing track of the main points. Employees may also find the answer to all of their questions if they let the customer speak. My recommendation is to encourage great customer service and to hear the customer out; then, tailor the conversation based on that. Politely lead the customer in the direction you need them to go to help create a streamlined conversation so that details aren't missed and the risk of miscommunications can be avoided. Mid interruptions along with abrupt negativity can really be frustrating to customers who are looking for your help in making an event memorable.

I ordered 9 dozen cupcakes for an event and everyone at the event raved about the delicious cupcakes! They were ready when I arrived at my pick up time and staff helped me carry all the cupcakes out to my car. I will use this bakery again for special events.
