Absolutely abysmal service Do NOT waste your time or money here. This place is a complete disaster when it comes to basic hospitality. The employees looked like they absolutely despised their jobs and couldn't be bothered to pretend otherwise. The entire staff radiated misery and attitude from the moment we walked in. We approached the manager to ask a simple question where the bathroom was and he didn't even bother to speak. He just glared at me and my family with pure rudeness, shook his head in disgust, and completely ignored us like we were beneath his notice. It was shockingly disrespectful and set the tone for the whole visit. We sat down anyway, hoping things might improve, but the vibe was so uncomfortable and hostile that we couldn't even bring ourselves to order food. The negativity was palpable; it felt like we were intruding on their bad day rather than being welcomed as paying customers. We walked out without eating a single bite and won't be back ever. If you're looking for a place where the staff treats you like an annoyance and the manager acts like a jerk, this is it. Save yourself the aggravation and go anywhere else. Zero stars if I could give it.

I had the chicken fajita burrito with refried beans and rice. Tasted okay, nothing to write home about. Skinny margarita was good.

Wonderful Skinny margaritas, chips, green avocado sauce, and a blender prepared salsa began the meal. I ordered youa simple burrito, sauteed ground beef, cheese in a folded tortilla, covered in chili con carne and topped with a dollap of sour creme. The refried beans provided some additional warmth for each bite and the Mexican rice added a subtle taste and texture to the culinary experience. We would come back when next in town. The only negative was our waitress spaced out our request for extras napkins. That's ok, we licked our fingers, the meal was that good.

Went to The Jalapeno Tree about 15 min until they closed, because of that, I figured we would get eye roll or tha stank eye for coming in so close to closing.. you ever want to see what kinda management a place has, go in 20 min till close..wasnt nobody there and these folks where ready to go home....I would have been...I was totally floored by these people...100% professionals, great drinks food and people...they wasnt tryn to rush nobody...I was impressed with the people, and that's hard to find in 2026...
Tried this place while on a bike ride through Denison. For the facility, there's plenty of parking, the dining room is clean, there a bar area for those that partake and has appropriate decor. The staff is very attentive and have a positive demeanor. The food was delicious. The portions were unexpectedly large. I'm over an hour away but plan to drive my wife here for dinner. I recommend giving it a try.

We had the beef fajitas which came out medium rare ( which is good ) but something was off with the texture. You could literally pull the medium rare meat apart by pinching it; like it was composed of meat glue.
Now unless this was over-marinated In pineapple juice, us beef eaters know this is strange for skirt steak as it's not pinch-thru tender. Flavor was good however. Sadly the best thing we had were the chips and green salsa. It's so good. Service was outstanding however. Wonderful team working there.

My server name was Nevaeh she was the most polite server i have came across in a long time, she got my order in and even helped suggest what was good, and I choose one the things she suggested and it was a very good meal. She kept making sure our cups were full and everything was going good, they was super busy and she just had the greatest smile and very calm. I would suggest if you go ask for her and know she is truly amazing I would 1000% recommend her and there establishment to everyone. I had a truely amazing time and loved my server.
