Bartender Jack works Tuesday and Thursday is awesome. Full of good suggestions and good conversation. I had th lunch pork with red skin potatoes and gravy. Delicious. My husband had shrimp poor boy and liked it. We had gator bites for appetizer and it was great, unique dipping sauce. The peach and berry cobler with vanilla bean ice cream was the perfect finish. Definitely time for a nap. Not a place for a budget meal but I will be back. The food is worth it and the service makes the experience exceptional. Thank you.
I usually get some kind of Cajun meal when I got to establishments like this. This Cajun burger intrigued me, so I ordered it. It was delicious, better than I expected! My husband got the alligator tail, which was delicious as well! I'm not sure if that is normally chewy, but even so, it was so good. We sat at the bar & the service was okay. She was nice & attentive, but would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time.
Typical Cajun food outside of Louisiana, but a bit less spicy. We must have visited on a bad day, because though there wasn't a long wait for a table (15) minutes, the place was a nightmare for the back staff. Everyone was very busy, the soda machine was out of syrup so I had to send back my sprite- not a big deal. But in terms of disability accessibility, I give it a 2. They had enough spots up front, and an easy entrance but that's where the accessibility ends. I included a picture of the floor because the tables are lines up so that every chair has to scoot in and then you have to roll behind people (hand not able to pass all the way because it's scraping the chairs) and on the other side is this mess of a track which keeps you bumping and bouncing trying to get to the bathroom. When I finally made it in, an employee had entered right before me (door closed in time for me to open it again) who decided out of the 3 open stalls in the women's restroom that she would use the accessible one. She apologized when I came in and tried to use it, saying she was an employee and it was shift change... ? I messaged my best friend who happens to be a manager at an extremely popular and busy burger joint in Dallas and asked her if that was something that would excuse the behavior to her as a former servicer now manager, and she was just as confused as I was. 1- you're pointing out you're an employee to me so I can't even right it off as another entitled Karen experience, and 2- you're blaming shift change instead of just leaving it at, my bad? Made no sense. The food was good, but nothing to right home about. Our actual server was very nice, he was kind and prompt. But I won't be returning because Disabled people are clearly not planned for or expected at this establishment.
If you’ve seen the restaurants around this place you know what to expect. It’s your middle of the road BJ’s, chewies kind of restaurant. That’s not a bad thing, I’m just saying it’s your basic kind of restaurant. That being said, the food was mostly very good. My wife didn’t like her pasta but the gator tail appetizer and my Stuffed Shrimp Simon were very good. The wait staff was very kind and friendly. The only downside is it’s a little pricey. The drinks are seemingly OK priced but we all had several and none of us felt anything which makes me believe that the alcohol content is minor in comparison to all the other stuff in the drink. My wife and I each had two drinks, one entrée each, an appetizer and spent $95 before tip. For that price I would have gone to a nicer restaurant and gotten legit cocktails. Again, the food isn’t bad but for the price I could’ve definitely gotten something a lot better and a lot nicer.
Had lunch with a great friend, great food! My favorite Louisiana seafood is fried oysters and shrimp. This makes me smile New Orleans style!
Great tasty food and fun bayou drinks. Service is always really friendly and the portions are generous. The only reason this gets 4 instead of 5 stars is the price. It's a place that we don't go to often because if my wife and I want to get a drink and app with our meal we are looking at $60 easy before tip, even during happy hour. But we really enjoy this place and Come here to scratch our Cajun itch.
Really enjoyed this place, liked the atmosphere. Staff did a good job and food was good. We had the fried alligator for an appetizer the Voodoo sandwich, Blacked Fish Bienville and stuffed shrimp. All were good and the sandwich was wonderful. Only criticism was the etoufee was way to light on the crawfish tails and could use more roux.
Great place. Service was a little slow. But with the way most restaurants are now with staffing issues, I will still give them 5 stars. It was busy. They handled it well and our food was fresh and delicious
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The Punch-Drunk Love is the best cocktail I've ever had, and the food was so flavorful. Especially loved the gator bites, etoufee, and blackened fish. Great service, really cool vibe, and a little enclosed grassy area for kids to run around while adults eat on the patio.
The food was delicious. Wasn't sure what to get, the girls were helpful in making our choice. The food was well seasoned and tasty. The staff was friendly and nice. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

A lot of good things about this restaurant and the only real down side is it being a little pricey but even that's pretty on par for similar places and the times. Nice, laid back atmosphere with comfortable seating and a good vibe. Service was good and even above average for the area and the food was about the same. Not blown away, but I'm a fan and will be back sooner or later.
Very clean, friendly, good food place. Not a chain! Great service. Light Jazz, blues, zydeco music playing in background, not loud, very pleasant. Our fried shrimp wasn’t real big, but tasty and cooked well. Hush puppies excellent and gumbo very tasty! Thank you we will be back!
The food here is so good! My first time here and I'm in love! The interior is clean and the decorations are very cool to look at. Love the pictures as well! The lady's restroom was clean and comfortable to use. I wish I could remember our server's name. He was enthusiastic and willing to talk about the menu. Great guy as well as the young lady that helped him. Very relaxed atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud and just great to listen to. The prices are reasonable for the great food and service. Not something we, a family of 4, can do every week, but definitely a place for a special occasion or date night. I had the catfish atchayala(not sure if correct spelling), amazing!. Husband had the fried catfish and shrimp. One son had the shrimp Creole and the other had the chicken sandwich. Literally EVERYTHING was so tasty! Omg! The hushpuppies! I'm still so full, but I'm drooling thinking about those, lol!
Second time eating here. Really enjoyed it both times. Had the stuffed shrimp this time. I like the inside/outside vibe. It has plenty of TV's for sports events but not overdone. Give them a try.
Awesome EXPERIENCE, great customer service, Delicious food. Very satisfying. The atmosphere is relaxed. I was here with my family and kiddos. Loved everything highly recommend this place.
