Bartender Jack works Tuesday and Thursday is awesome. Full of good suggestions and good conversation. I had th lunch pork with red skin potatoes and gravy. Delicious. My husband had shrimp poor boy and liked it. We had gator bites for appetizer and it was great, unique dipping sauce. The peach and berry cobler with vanilla bean ice cream was the perfect finish. I usually get some kind of Cajun meal when I got to establishments like this. This Cajun burger intrigued me, so I ordered it. It was delicious, better than I expected! My husband got the alligator tail, which was delicious as well! I'm not sure if that is normally chewy, but even so, it was so good. We sat at the bar & the service was okay. She was nice & attentive, but would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time.
Typical Cajun food outside of Louisiana, but a bit less spicy. We must have visited on a bad day, because though there wasn't a long wait for a table (15) minutes, the place was a nightmare for the back staff.
