Charleys Cheesesteaks and Wings

Tried to use the claw machines inside the store. Machine took my money but would not activate. Literally worker looks at me and resumes sweeping. Not even worth the trouble but I’m sure I wasn’t the first.

Ordered two orders of fries, received one, and had to wait another 10 minutes for the other( I saw them finished and sitting in the basket). While waiting, she yelled at the top of her lungs at another employee to go on break. The work environment was very hostile; I don't envy anyone working there daily. She also forgot the ranch for one order. I'm very disappointed with the whole experience.

Ordered the spicy lemon pepper wings and definitely got regular lemon pepper wings my 1 yr old son could eat them because they had ZERO spice. I only stopped for those particular wings bc I wanted to try them for the first time and the basic lemon pepper wasn’t very good. They’re closed now so I can’t take them back but I will be taking the food back tomorrow.

If you're considering working at Charleys Philly Cheesesteaks, The Loop and the University location think again. This place has one of the highest turnover rates I’ve ever seen, and it's no surprise why. Rae, the general manager, creates a toxic work environment with constant verbal abuse. Her unrealistic standards are impossible to meet, and to make matters worse, she often breaks her own rules and expects everyone to just forgive her. Everyone makes mistakes, but the hypocrisy and lack of accountability here are beyond frustrating. The atmosphere is oppressive, and the stress of working under such conditions isn't worth it. Save yourself the trouble and look for a job where you're treated with respect and fairness. Avoid this place at all costs. And the ceo turns a blind eye.
I loved working here at first and realised Rae's kindness was a facade and witnessed countless times of unforgiving punishments even on the first offense. I no longer had the love for this job like I had before.
I still have love for the food here and I dont wish for it to close but I cannot put up with Rae and her mistreatment towards everyone and think she's above us. Your just like any other person on this earth Rae. Act like it.
Oh also beware of Vishal if he's making your food, youd better pray you dont get food poisoning because hes very unsanitary and wouldn't wash his hands after handling meats and would often cross contaminate.

The young lady at the cash register was very nice-(6-4-24)-about after 7pm. But my sister first ordered some classic chicken wings, 30 of them for $46.70something cents. It was the biggest mistake she made, because when we got home to eat them, they were very dry, and over-cooked, and they tasted very old! Plus, they weren't seasoned just right, and we were very disappointed!! They could have done better than that! We're not going back to this restaurant anymore-that was just too much money to spend for such poor tasting wings! Plus, I ordered fries for $3.78--a large order, and all we got was a skimpy little paper cup full of fries, but they at least tasted fresh. That's just too much money to spend for such sorry tasting wings and little cup of fries-(though good). Not going to return, but to the nice lady there, we'll simply say 'Hello'.

The Indian or whatever people they have working there can't understand what I'm saying. They are rude and rush you to tell them what you want on your sandwich, all to mess it up anyway.. This is the 3rd time in a row and there is no manager to even call and report. This time I received a sandwich with nothing but meat and cheese.. no veggies, no mayo, sandwich just dry. I'd rather drive to Grapevine Mills Mall to get a sandwich.. they would never!!! If I could take a picture of this sandwich and post it I would. No point in driving back to Walmart because they are going to act like it's a problem to remake it. As I said this is the 3rd time in a row.. I'm pissed.. sitting here pregnant and crying about my food I paid for....
