I was blown away by the service here. When I accidentally ordered a non-vegitarian option, they remade it for me as a custom meal at no extra cost. The staff were happy and supportive throughout. I was very impressed.

Super cute aesthetic. Food was not great quality for the price. I ordered stuff French toast, which came w two pieces of toast and a scoop of mascarpone in the middle. Paid extra for blueberries. My daughter substituted potatoes for fruit (up charge) and fruit was not fresh. Iced tea didn’t taste fresh either.

This food could cure depression! Do not sleep on this brunch spot right on the square. Got the in-house smoked salmon and bagel and you can tell the chefs take pride in what they do. The dish was curated with love and passion. I opted for the side of fruit over the potatoes. And this was no side dish at all. The fruit a bountiful variety all very juicy, sweet and perfectly ripe. Riley and the other staff do a great job making sure the guests here are happy and fulfilled. Thank you, Chestnut Tree for doing what you do so well. Here's to another 30+yrs of excellence. Cheers!

I had a salmon salad and onion soup, both were very nice! Also, they offer really good wine and my mimosa was lovely. What I appreciated the most was their host, a wonderful man called Thomas(?). It’s so nice to see business hiring disabled people and giving them a chance to thrive. Watching him cleaning tables, welcoming people and serving drinks was so heartwarming.

Easy seating and accessibility, but very load restaurant. Food was ok and reasonably priced. A nice lunch spot in a good downtown location!

I didn’t love this place. It wasn’t terrible but just wasn’t my cup of tea. The food wasn’t very flavorful and the atmosphere felt a little run down.

Absolute hidden gem! My friends and I went out for birthday brunch and got seated immediately. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the place has a chic rustic theme. We went on a Saturday and there was a jazz band playing there which made the experience even better. The server was also super nice and went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and drinks were amazing! All five of us loved our food. The tea and coffee selection is very good as well. I highly recommend the blueberry pomegranate tea and Denton Fog. The parking could definitely be an issue, however, there is a free parking lot near the Wells Fargo building that is free and about a 3 min walk!

This use to be my favorite spot in Denton. Such a shame it has gone so downhill. Menu has changed and food and drink were meh, both bathrooms disgusting and out of soap.

The quiche lorraine was deplorable. There was no bacon, no trace of onions and didn't have any swiss or gruyere chesse. It looked like eggs in a custard consistence with 2 or three little pieces of ham. It didn't taste like anything. The crust was good. Don't order quiche until they make it a real quiche. What they serve is NOT quiche.
I had a tomato soup that was very good. I had to ask for crakers and a spoon.
They didn't charge for the quiche which was very nice of them.
I won't go back and I won't recommend it to friends. It's nothing like it used to be under previous owner.
