To go ordering at Chuy's needs improvement. This is the 2nd time I've ordered to go, using the convention curbside check-in and had a lengthy time wait of nearly 30 minutes. Both times the text sent indicated order would be ready on-time. I can understand a wait of a few extra minutes, but almost 30 minutes both times - with no communication or updates? I won't be ordering here anymore.

It started promising. The staff was friendly when we walked in and seated us immediately. After we sat down, a waiter came over with chips and salsa and asked for our drink order. then another waitress came over and put queso on our table and our waiter asked if we ordered it and after we said no, he took it away. weird but no big deal. 10 mins later he came back for our drink order and food order. (no plates or anything with the chips and salsa but just let that go at the time) so we ordered and waited a while and eventually our drinks came then our meal... we'd ordered the combo fajitas for 2 and were brought the steak fajitas by a different waiter.... told him it was supposed to be the combo fajitas (chicken and steak) and he left everything but the steak and took it back to the kitchen and we waited again while the rest of our stuff was getting cold for our meat for the fajitas. eventually they brought a new plate with the steak and chicken out (beans and rice were cold at that point), set it down and left in a hurry. whatever... still no plates.... we had to ask a different waiter for plates.... food was tasty even if half of it was cold. waiter came back asking to refill our drinks and ended up spilling tea down my side and didn't notice and walked away so fast i didn't get to even say anything and i just sat there stunned...
overall, food was good, service was shaky at best, not sure if i'd bother going back to be honest unless i had a really compelling reason to or i was going with someone else that wanted to go there.

Chuy’s is always good - the staff was friendly and accommodating when the expo sent out our food without a side, I heard them call for it on the fly and it got out right away. Straight to the point, quality TexMex.

Years ago, anytime I was in Austin, I HAD to make a trip to the OG Chuy's. It was SO GOOD! This Chuy's is NOT the same. The food is like On The Border, just meh. And it's far too loud in the restaurant. You have to yell to have a conversation with the person sitting right next to you to be heard, adding to the problem. The food's not good enough to deal with the noise. We drove from a neighboring city to enjoy, but again... too noisy and meh food. My companion was served a bad pour on his beer, missing a good 2 oz. of beer. Overall, I give it 3 stars for meh.

This Chuy's is decent. The food is exceptional. The service is amazing. I always enjoy my conversations with the staff. The staff is always accommodating yo my child.
Food wasn't bad, but not my favorite. Chips and salsa were good though. Service was OK, but our server kept forgetting things we asked for. The biggest complaint we had, and this was the same thing at the Chuy's we visited a week or so before in FTW, it's way too loud you couldn't hear the other people at your table.

We had an amazing experience tonight! Our server, Kaden, was AWESOME! He made sure we never ran out of soda and chips, and was the perfect balance of attentive without being annoying. We had a minor mishap with sauce being forgotten on my tacos, but Kaden made it right and brought right out a big serving of sauce on the side, which meant I could also use some on my rice and beans! The staff also made it right by putting my Tres Leches cake on the house which was an extremely kind gesture. The food was some of the best we've had in awhile, and we never felt rushed to leave, which is rare for casual dine-in today. I cannot recommend enough this location and will certainly be back soon! We don't get to go out often so having a great experience like this made our month. Thank you Kaden and all other staff members!

Delicious chicken fajitas and huge appetizer plate. Warm chips and salsa. We all loved our food. The server was attentive but not imposing. The only thing we noticed was there was a huge number of people talking and it was a too loud.
