I love this restaurant it is my new go to place for delicious authentic Mexican food! I was starving one night back in February when it was really cold and I was craving chicken mole so bad! I haven’t found very many authentic Mexican restaurants in Denton that make Chicken Mole. So I was so excited when I came across Don Chiquitos! They have the best Chicken Mole I have ever had! It was so full of flavor and I also got so full!They give you really big portion sizes! It’s also really affordable a lot more affordable than most restaurants! I have also tried their Al pastor tacos and they are amazing! Im already addicted to Don Chiquitos food and the cheap prices too! This is my new go to authentic Mexican restaurant at the moment!

Went here 1/22/2024 The “Birria “ taco I got served tasted like fish took two bites and nooo!!! There is no fish in this dish! So that bothered me a great deal. I looked at the meat, and it was clearly combination of large amount of fat, innards of some kind. I could see the large veins of some kind. ??? The woman still had the nerve to charge me for them. Don’t think I’ll be back. The à la cart. Tacos are good tho. Only reason they got a 2star if they didn’t do me dirty like this. It would be 4

I have no idea how they’re still open. They never answer the phone and they’re never open when it says they’re open. They have good tacos but nothing is consistent here. Just frustrating- this place could be good but the owners do not seem to have any interest in customers/their own business. Now I take my business to Don Matute just down the road.
