I love this place for drink options and seating but they have one major flaw. They desperately need to ban smoking in the outdoor, covered area right outside the bar. It's unacceptable to allow it in a transitional area between outdoor and inside. IF you allow smoking at all at the business, it spike be around the corner and outside.
I would make this 5/5 if staff would actually stop people from smoking where they shouldn't be.

Love Eastside! Came to watch the Stars on the HUGE SCREEN in the back. So many options of beers, I think like 115 types. 😮 I went for some cocktails, had a couple of Brain Killers and they did not disappoint. Lots of friendly bartenders and very knowledgeable mixologists! Food trucks all around Eastside with plenty of options, you can't go wrong. Great atmosphere, food, drinks and entertainment!

Came here on Halloween night and I would definitely come back the drinks were tasty the atmosphere was so much fun i had a great time here would be coming back next year for Halloween again !
Love this place in downtown Denton. 5 or so food trucks always parked here opening up to a huge back yard patio with fans for summer and heaters for the winter. Maybe 100 beers on tap listed on a TV screen showing where its from, who makes it, what type of beer it is, alcohol percentage and IBU. Best place to try a ton of drafts.

My girlfriend was just there for Day of the dead festival. She walked over to get food and a drink. There are umbrellas out for a reason. She opened the umbrella and she was booed and was told to close it. What is the worst part is management came and closed it and took it away. If you want your customers to bake in the sun. Then maybe you shouldn’t have the umbrellas out! When management pulled the umbrella. The ignorant men/people cheered and yelled at a 6 year old boy! How old are people at East Side bar!? We will never go back and if you are treating customers like this. I would tell all my friends to never go to East Side bar!

They advertise a pumpkin makers mark old fashioned in their Halloween specials. My drink didn’t have any pumpkin flavor in it and it definitely wasn’t makers. The bar tender could care less and this place is a joke.

If you’re planning on going to east side to see movies with children DO NOT!!!! East side was having an October movie night and I was trying to see the movie with my daughter and the bouncers WOULD NOT LET US IN. They have a sign at EVERY ENTRANCE that states under 21 are allowed with a parent/guardian. They did not let me in the establishment because they said I look too young to be the guardian. I am at a loss for words. When facts met opinions my jaw dropped. I asked if they needed legal documents or what kind of proof I needed to provide and they said there is no proof that’s just not how it works. I understand anybody in the bar has the ability to refuse service and that I understand. I am just extremely upset that I wasn’t able to spend time with my daughter watching a scary movie while supporting local businesses. I am in awe that somebody can tell me “that’s not how it works” when I pay her bills and support her life.

my fav bar in downtown denton. next to angeline’s and so many good food trucks !!! seriously. munchies and saucy hibachi are my favorite food trucks. they have movie nights every wednesday. dog friendly. outside and inside seating. super spacious. really chill vibes !! my go to spot.
