Freebirds World Burrito

Thirty mins after opening, food wasn’t fresh, looked like it had been sitting out for hrs, wasn’t hot, out of stuff, empty containers, no ice, no sweet tea out, floors and tables dirty. The smallest salad I’ve ever gotten ;Definitely a total waste of money!

The ladies were nice don’t get me wrong. Here is what I had a problem with. Me and my husband came in to eat at about 2:30 pm on a Monday afternoon. He ordered a burrito, i ordered nachos and we got my son a kids quesadillas. First of all the nearly all of the trays that contained the food and toppings were scrapped clean! I’m not sure if the lunch rush has just came but it was empty when we walked in. It looked less than pleasing. However the server informed me that they had more in the back so I obliged. My sons quesadilla was thinner than a potato chip and my husbands burrito was mostly rice ! The fountain drink was not carbonated correctly as it tastes like sugar syrup drinks. And the bathrooms were FILTHY! totally ruined our desire to go back. We spent $38 for mid grade food. In my opinion there was no reason there shouldn’t have been fresh ingredients out, a clean bathroom, and a working drink fountain. Not ever again. First and last time !

Though the food was great (like always), the employees didn’t do a great job of being efficient and listening; the bathroom also needed A LOT of attention.

The food was good and the 3 people working there seemed very kind. They were severely understaffed. There weren't black beans, chicken or steak. They had to pull chips from to go bags. Everyone waiting in line in the restaurant took 2nd priority to the to go orders and it just wasn't physically possible for the employees to get everything done in a timely manner. The restaurant itself was dirty. Because we spent so much time standing and looking longingly at the food, I noticed that the fire sprinkler over the food was completely covered in hair/lint/dirt/dust, whatever was caked on it. The bathroom had a locked code but was so dirty I used a paper towel to touch everything in there. I honestly wish we hadn't eaten there because of how dirty it was, but we were fully committed with getting our whole family in there.

Writing this review in hopes that management makes some changes for the overworked people there.

Great mission style burritos

Extremely poor service. Staff are not trained to provide refunds. I have been a faithful customer of Freebirds since the day the College Station restaurant opened back in the 1980’s. I was the first customer. I have never seen such a poorly run business in all of my years.
This location is understaffed with poorly trained employees. We waited 20 minutes for a refund only to find out no one knew how to handle one.

I got a monster and a bowl and this is by far the smallest amount of food I’ve received for almost $40. I used to get double the food at freebirds for half the price. Staff was either brand new and training or just didn’t really know what they were doing. This may be the last time I come to freebirds where I always chose it over chipotle in the past.

Dirtiest I have ever seen this location. We have been coming here for years, and it has been in decline for a while. The floor of the whole restaurant had food debris everywhere. Behind the counter was nasty as well.

Ordered a burrito, chips and salsa, potatos, and a coke on door dash. The burrito wasn't wrapped completely and was leaking in the bag. I didn't receive my chips and salsa. The potatoes were cold. And got the wrong drink. Great job folks.
