The food is fantastic, and the service is friendly and very relaxed. I am not a fan of the dimmed lights, where you feel that you need a flashlight to see your menu.Parking: Behind the restaurant so can be a little confusing but it's available.

This place has always been a great service and experience for my wife and me.. I don't typically want to write a review like this because I'd rather keep the local secret to myself, but this a must-do in Denton! They even accommodate gluten free folks really well. The aervice is always great, and the food is consistently good.Parking: Remember that parking is behind the building and there's no easy way to figure this out for your first time. Don't let it deter you, though!

No questions, just go. It doesn't get a whole lot better than this. Our server, Piper, was amazing, the food was amazing and the building was quaint and perfect.

After seeing the high reviews and looking at their website my wife and I decided on this place to try for her birthday. Building definitely needs work. Huge crack in our dining room wall. It’s below 20 outside and they seat us by the window which air is blowing right in thru. We started with the portabella which tasted like oil and was not appealing at all. They finally brought out our bread after we had finished our appetizer. We both looked at each other and said this bread looks like it’s from sams on top of the fact the smashed it when trying to cut it. Thinking maybe the main course would be better I got the veal which you could tell had been sitting under a warmer. The fried exterior was soft and once again this tasted like oil. Wife had the ground beef, sausage, and onion over fettuccine noodles with tomato sauce. Not at all impressed with it either. After looking at the 4 desserts I had my reservations they were from a box. Tiramisu…….almost freezer cold. Once again total let down. $86 bill by time we tipped with a glass of wine and 2 beers. Won’t be back. There are much better choices nearby but we had high hopes for this place to be something new.

We had a party of 4. Atmosphere is relaxed. It is in a quaint old house. The staff was very attentive and the owner came over to answer any questions we had and make recommendations. The fried calamari was delicious. We all tried different entrees and everything was terrific.

Despite the novelty of being in an old Victorian home, this place doesn’t have much else going for it. There was no ambiance, it was cold (due to the lack of heating, and it is a bit run down. The food was very subpar. The bruschetta was not anything more than a heated up freezer bread log with some toppings sprinkled on some of it. Neither pasta dish were any good. The beef was extremely salty and rubbery and the bolognese was nothing to write home about. I would not come back. The waiter was very nice, but he did smell strongly of nicotine.

Complete trash. The only thing they didn’t mess up was the wine, because they didn’t make it. Mushroom caps had NO stuffing. Veal on two different plates TOUGH as nails. Served with wrong pasta sides. Alfredo had ZERO flavor, no cream, no butter, nothing Salads over dressed. Bruschetta had no balsamic, and tomatoes were not chopped but rather LARGELY sliced and thrown around. Can not believe we stayed for the meal after the poor apps, but it’s historicity been great. Apparently no more. Sad loss to Denton. 2 thumbs down Giuseppe. Do better.
