Recently went and had their strawberry rose matcha latte and it was to die for. However, kind of confused about the changes with ownership? Returned for another latte yesterday and they were closed though their hours say they are open. I hope whatever is happening is resolved because they make really good coffee and this place has always been a vibe!

I USED to love this place. My father was in town and I suggested going to the best coffee place in Denton. But the staff was incredibly rude and even told us “don’t come back” as we were leaving. I’d rather get coffee from QT now. Awful experience.

The biggest appeal of Golden Boy to me is their culture. The space you create as a coffee shop is often just as huge a factor as your product, and what brings me to Golden Boy is knowing that people are safe there. It’s an added bonus that the drinks and pastries are great—this morning I had one of the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever eaten. I’m glad Denton has Golden Boy!

For many months (and a couple years) I would go here and get my afternoon chamomile tea. It was kind of a zen experience. I would read and write, or draw. I loved this space. It was transcendental and beautiful. Things have changed since, but I would like to thank Sarah who was always a sage of a person, and K.C. who always made me smile. They were incredibly hard workers who deserve esteem and recognition. You should visit and have a spot of herbal tea for me. Things change and love is real. Peace-joe
