My GOOD GOD š± THE shrimp udon was the BEST IVE HAD since my trip to Tokyo šš½ The base is amazing š„¹ Marvin was helping me this evening and I had a 5 star experience because of him alone but the food was UNBELIEVABLE.

Iāve been coming here for the past year and itās the best sushi place in Denton. Being from Dallas itās hard to find a good place out here but Hanasato is always top tier. Marvinās service is great and makes the experience great!

Walked in to just be yelled at for seating. They didnāt seat us. Told us table numbers where we could sit. Girl we have never been here before how are we supposed to know what those table numbers are? Itās rude to just yell to greet like ??? Why are you just saying dining inā¦ no hello or welcome??

Really very tasty sushi roll options that are generous and come out fast.
Only negatives I have are that it seems their AC is out and they're using a sort of swamp cooler that makes it kind of damp smelling inside. Also, our waitress said she accidentally poured 2 Sodas and brought us the extra, but then charged us for it.

Love it here. We eat here frequently. Love the spicy tonkatsu. The jalapeƱos that have crab in them (appetizer canāt remember what they are called are a fave)

Everything was perfect except for the chashu pork. I ordered the chashu rice bowl and the chashu was dry, extremely chewy, and packed not a lot of flavor. I've had chashu at many japanese restaurants. The pork belly is supposed to be braised in a delicious sauce, so much so that it is melt in your mouth tender and is full of flavor. Everything in the rice bowl was perfect, except for the chashu pork.

Great sushi, udon noodles, and tempura. Good selection of sake for Texas. The broth for the bowls is complex and so yummy! We tried the monkey brain appetizer (it's mushrooms people, calm down) and the 4 mushrooms were huge and so delicious - see picture - we had eaten 2 so fast we forgot to take the pic until there was only 2 left)
