Hauoli Poke Teppan

This is my favorite spot in Denton whenever I’m craving a poke bowl! Their Build Your Own Poke Bowl is my go-to – I usually go with ahi tuna and sometimes add spicy tuna or tempura shrimp as a second protein, then load up on all the fresh toppings. Their combination fried rice is also a solid pick if you’re looking for something extra filling.

Everything’s always fresh, and you can add tons of toppings (avocado and cream cheese cost extra, but most toppings are included). My favorite sauce mix is the spicy mayo and ponzu. Plus, they always throw a little treat in the to-go bag, like Starburst, which I think is a great touch.

During Lent, especially on Fridays, it can get pretty packed, but most of the year it’s a nice, quiet spot for lunch. Parking at lunchtime can be a bit tricky, though – I’ve sometimes had to park by McAlister's or the Armed Forces Career Center and walk over, or drive around until a spot opens up. I usually order online, and while I wish they had an app to make it even easier, their service is impressively fast. I can place an order when I leave work, and by the time I get there – about 10 minutes later – it’s ready to go.

Best hibachi in Denton, super fast and easy and cost effective! After eating a wonderful woman came up and gave us some candy! What wonderful people here can’t wait to come back

This place has a lot of potential, but two times out of maybe 7 or 8 visits here my bowl has been basically inedible. It definitely didn't taste very good or fresh today and my wife didn't enjoy hers either. Other visits have been great so I don't get the inconsistency.

I was having a poke bowl itch and this scratched it PERFECTLY. Call me dramatic but this was the best poke bowl I've ever had (I've only had two others before but still). Poke bowls were good, sushi was GOOD, shrimp tempura was good. The young lady at the register was really nice too! Trust I will be coming BACK.

This is some of the best Poke I’ve had here in the states. Definitely a hidden treasure as it’s between shops but if you have a chance check this place out!

These are the Denton rolls I believe. I also had there Boston rolls 3/10. I’m not one to waste food but I couldn’t keep eating this. I realized they put the sauce over the avocado, once I saw the avocado u can tell it’s clearly old. I just got off a 3 days fast and was excited to eat something good. I regret it. There bowls have usually been ok though and I like their house fried rice. I have only ever left 1 bad review so I hate doing this but just warning others. Maybe new chief idk. Bye

Came in for a snack at 2pm and was immediately assisted at the counter. Very friendly greeting. After ordering the Las Vegas roll, I was asked if I'd like a beverage. When declining, I was told where the water is located.
When my roll came out about 10 minutes later, it looked AMAZING. It was full of flavor too! Thank you Hauoli Poke Teppan. I can't wait to come back.

I came here in the middle of the day to enjoy this and I must say it's totally worth it the fried sushi here is great ?? The only thing that could make it better is if they served alcohol

I love this place so much! The food here is always great, the workers are always friendly, and the interior design is nice. The food here always seems fresh and is delicious every time I come here. The parking here is always easy and overall is a five. Would recommend and will always come here for food!!

I love this place so much. I normally order off doordash but this time I went to the store and they were so sweet? They also gave me starburst in my bag! Highly recommend
